Dominion Attacks, Eldan Ruins, And More Await In This New Part of Nexus

Carbine's mentioned the Dominion a couple times in their previous WildStar Wednesday posts, but we haven't seen much evidence of the Dominion vs. Exiles war other than a couple of quick remarks here and there. Hard to really get a feel for a faction without seeing what they do, right? Today's WildStar Wednesday should help alleviate that somewhat as the plains of Galeras serve as our introduction to the war between the Dominion and the Exiles.

We're introduced to the Dominion as the Crimson Legion, the Dominion's presence in Galeras, has driven back the Free Companies of Nexus (Exiles) to the ancient ruins of Thayd. The Exiles try to regroup, but between the constant bombardments and the cut-off supply lines, things are looking bleak. Exile heroes have been sent to help fight back the Dominion, but there's a lot of Dominion between them and their cornered compatriots. Assuming the Exile heroes can make it there and save the day, there's the little matter of retaliation.

Galeras isn't all Dominion vs. Exile battles though. You'll also find Eldan ruins such as the gigantic Focus of Air and meet the researchers trying to puzzle out its secrets. Of course it's kinda hard to figure out Eldan mysteries when you're under attack by Darkspur Cartel and your researchers are being captured by one of the local native species, so they'll probably need the services of a gun/sword/esper for hire.
