Perfect World Entertainment has given us an exclusive sneak peek at the Shura Gauntlet dungeon that's coming to Jade Dynasty in the Imperial Citadel content update.

Jade Dynasty's Imperial Citadel content update is scheduled to launch this month and will bring with it a PvE map for Vitalized Ascended players, a new dungeon, a new daily that can be completed for items, and a revamped JD-Mart functionality that allows you to bid more competitively and place additional bids.

Perfect World Entertainment has given us an exclusive sneak peek at the Shura Gauntlet dungeon that will require players to face wave after wave of monsters to receive increasingly powerful rewards. Check out all of the details and screenshots after the jump!

Imperial Citadel Content Update: Shura Gauntlet

This new dungeon will require a party of your most powerful friends, and it can be accessed in Sunstream City through a new “Voidland” NPC.

You start out trapped within an even more twisted version of Shura, where the only way out is to delve deeper.

Fight waves upon waves of deadly enemies.

Avoid deadly flame and electric traps as you advance further in the gauntlet.

Receive ever-increasingly powerful rewards from various faction representatives the longer you survive!

After the final wave for each room, you’ll fight a more powerful version of an infamous Shura boss. For example, you’ll first fight an epic version of the Yin-Yang Priest.

Each new room presents new challenges and new rewards — how far will you go?
