As the FBI continues to do its job more and more evidence is collected...and from what they will tell us the evidence is pointing more and more in the direction of Bin Laden...couple that with the fact that hes missing and the afghani's are denying knowing where he is and I start to have a problem with this. If he is found in Afghanistan there will be hell to pay. For those of you who dont know there was supposedly some bombings in Afghanistan the night of the WTC attack. Could it be that people were trying to get the government to give up bin laden? Could it be that Bin Laden in all his terroristic glee killed those people as well? As of now I have no idea. all ive heard is speculation and 2nd hand reports.
And for those of you saying that the US should do nothing...I wonder if you would be saying that if it had been your family in that building. If someone you had been close to had died when the building collapsed...estimated casualties are now expected to be over 20,000...for comparison roughly 2,400 people died in Pearl Harbor. Terrorism should not be accepted by anyone. For those of you who believe that those responsible and those who aided them should not be held responsible and killed...what are you thinking? As for you who say that everyone thinks we should wipe Afghanistan as a country off the map, yesterday and perhaps earlier today I would have to agree with you. Mostly because I was blinded by sheer anger at the loss of life, but now honestly I think any sort of bombing would be to quick of a death for these men, who do not seem to value human life at all. Instead they should be made to suffer. Made to see what they did and how wrong it was. As for the Afghanistan people, if what I have been told is true and that they attempted to stage a coup(sp?), and overthrow their government...I believe we should back them. If the current government would condone this sort of act and harbor such men...then they are no better and deserve the fate destined for the terrorists responsible for the deaths of over 20,000 civilian lives.
Horrifying Terrorist Attacks on the U.S.
This is not game news, but is more important. I am putting this up here because many people are trying to figure out what is going on and this way we can share what we know. Here's what I know so far:
- At about 8:45 a plane crashed into one of the World Trade Center towers. 14 minutes later, andther plane crashed into the second tower.
- Another plane crashed into the Pentagon soon after that.
- A bomb went off at the State Department.
- Both World Trade Center Towers have now completely collapsed, presumably killing everyone who was unable to evacuate in time, and also the firemen and police who were at the towers trying to help people evacuate.
- Another plane has gone down somewhere in Western Pennsylvania. Possibly just a coincidence or possibly an attempt to hyjack it to another target.
Words cannot express the horror.
