Rift's first closed beta event will run from December 3-6.

Rift's “Rise of the Defiant” closed beta event is now live! Players can experience levels 1-20 of the Defiant starting zone plus the Plane of Death invaded fields of Freemarch. You can also tour the grand city of Meridian or, if you have the guts, you can enter the Iron Tomb instanced dungeon and battle hordes of undead.
