Tuesday Patch Goodies

NOW they remove the factory fee after I just picked one up last night that didn't work... hrmph! Hope this patch brings smiles for you.
    Update Notes 8/26/03
  • Changed factories temporarily such that they no longer require a fee to re-deed.
  • Reverted the stats rule changes made Friday.
  • Increased the rate of loot drops.
  • Corrected a problem on the server that would result in invalid resources occasionally being generated.
  • Fixed /eject, such that it only works with player structures.
  • Changed medic XP such that you no longer get XP for healing pets.
  • Fixed a problem where players could apply a bleeding shot to AT-STs.
  • Fixed a problem where a gameserver would run very slow on startup.
  • Fixed a crash in the database server.
  • Fixed a problem where you could dupe crafting components.
  • Fixed an exploit where you could gain unlimited creature handler XP.

The no xp from healing pets does not make medics smile. Players cannot nearly take the dmg that pets can and being able to let a pet tank and get xp for healing it only seemed pretty fair. You dont get xp from healing yourself, you dont get xp from healing pets, next you wont get xp from healing other players =(

The only way I can see this as a goodthing is if they are planning on on creating a profession called Veternarian.

Granted . . I don't know too much about the bio-engineer proffession, but I guess it could be possible that a "vet" prof is already covered.
