i am getting very unhappy i bought this LDON for 30 buck and cant enter a dungeion untill i get an advetureers stone i have ben told that when you install the game when you log in your supposed to go to your home town and an npc will send you a tell and when find them hail them and some where along the line they will give you one of these stone well i spent the whole day went to my home town 6 dif times nothing happend so i started asking the same race people that i am where they went to get the stone i went to the same person they did in same ome town haild the npc and still nothing starting to get very discorage to buy a game for 30 dollars and not be able to play it what do i do grrrrrrr

Well, I have only two things to say:
1) Peter Jackson called, he wants his Orc back
2) Stone-head there better be in Plane of Underfoot or this dwarf is gonna go postal.
This expansion looks to be very cool, hope they take time to develop it right, unlike Luclin.

I have a feeling this is going to be great, a good old fashion dungeon crawl with nice new lewts! As long as they dont rush it like they did lucin because i dont want any more lag from a shonky grapics engine!

Just an idea I had of each dungeon... each group can enter the first dungeon, being full of a bunch of low levels. Killing the named mob in the back gets you flagged for level 2. You complete level 2, gets you flagged for 3, each level getting harder and harder, so lets say, the bottom level would be full of no drop loot equal to that found in numerous low level planes or luclin zones, like PoI, VT, BoT.
Just an idea I thought of, might make this whole thing even more interesting with flags.

The LDoN expansion will work for any level range group or so the postings say. The key is that in order to enter one of the LDoN you must be in a group. Quote from the official press release "Enjoy the excitement of "dungeon crawls" that are tailored and customized for your group's attributes & levels."
It was my understanding that group must consist of a minimum of 5 members in order to enter one of the LDoN and that it would take between 1.5 and 2 hours to complete a full dungeon.
Overall this latest expansion has great potential. Hope it lives up to the hype...

What should make this pretty awesome is that they "SHOULD" be introducing instancing in the LDON expansion. I seriously doubt they will go back and add instancing to PoP, but still think of all the new NPCs to kill and you no longer have to shout out "CAMP CHECK!!!!!"

I think we are safe to assume that they knew that already, though it DOES look like a gun. I wonder if the skellie's name is 'Jimmy Tudeski' ('The Whole Nine Yards'). Though he might be part of a quest, you would have to give props to him and his homies or he'll bust a cap in yo. Aight?

Actually, if you've ever used EQInside, the devs put in an icon for a revolver. I don't know what it was intended for, but I'd hazard the suggestion that the gnomes eventually create firearms. Hehehe.

They did a really good job with this. I hope I get in on the action on the first day and get some uberl33t befor everyone else, unlike Veksar!

This looks absolutly awesome. This is what EverQuest Players have been asking for, for almost four years now. Dungeon Crawls are what I personally love, they are fun, challenging, and show how well your group works together. I like they way the decided to manage that way this new Exspansion works as well...randomly generated maps for multiple groups. Absolutly awesome.

To me the key is how the creatures look. We need to see things before they instantly put it in and ruin the game. Well done!!

I'm really looking forward to this btw. These shots are looking great. Character variety is great, and is one of the most important things visually in a game like EQ, but with LDoN, I want to see a little extra emphasis on environmental eye candy, i think. Nothing too extravagant however. These will be DUNGEONS, don't get me wrong, I just hope they don't all look the same: stone walls, torches lighting the way and such. Im looking forward to something interesting and i hope LDoN meets is up to the challenge. Good hunting all.

And BTW, all these shots look like real "dungeon" pics. And by dungeon, I mean underground.
Don't flame, there are above ground "dungeons" in current EQ (look at the planes, it's not like you're in a cave.
