SK Gaming Takes Home Arena Crown

SK Gaming EU has won the WoW PvP Arena tournament in the Intel Extreme Masters Global Challenge, which was held in Montreal, Canada, over the weekend.

They beat Gravitas Gaming, of the United States, to take home $15,000. the Gravitas players walked away with $6,000, but not before teammate Celex smashed his laptop and part of the backdrop in the players' area in a "nerd rage" after losing the final match. Lucky for us, the whole embarassing ordeal is on YouTube.

For full coverage of the final match, check out this article on SK Gaming's Web site. Both teams were comprised of a rogue, mage and priest.

I'd be pretty pissed too at the situation, but not pissed enough to go full force into a temper-tantrum. They should have omited him from the prize money just for that.. no point on even paying a baby!

I watched the YouTube movie, and I gotta say, what a complete loser (pun intended). Sure, it really sucks when you don't get the 15K prize money, but it still is only a game. Really. And when you play in such a big tournament, you should be aware that camera's are pointed at you so you should behave yourself. He acts like a spoiled 14 y/o... oh wait! He probably is 15 y/o and definitely spoiled :P
On a hilarious side note, their website is "temporarily offline". Probably because the anticipated stream of people coming to congratulate Gravitas Gaming on their newly acquired fame :)
