Bethesda today announced the first DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited! Due out on August 31st for PC and Mac, September 15th for Xbox One, and September 16th for PlayStation 4, the Imperial City DLC will be included for active ESO Plus members (unless your membership lapses) or can otherwise be purchased for 2500 crowns in the Crown Store. The whole DLC will be freely available on the PC/Mac PTS later this month for testing.
In the final edition of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited video series, we get a glimpse at the vast world available to explore in TESO. Today Bethesda Softworks kicked off a new video series entitled This is The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited! This series will offer insight into the vast world of TESO, which is currently available on PC/Mac and arriving on console on June 9th.
Check out the first video, Freedom and Choice in Tamriel, which explores the freedom to forge your own path and the countless choices you’ll face along the way including deciding your race, alliance, class, playstyle, and ability specializations.
Eligible players recently received emails informing them that The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited for Console with account copy is available for pre-purchase for $20.00 at account.elderscrollsonline.com/store when logged in using an eligible The Elder Scrolls Online account.

This morning, Bethesda and Zenimax Online have announced not only the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One console June 9, 2015 launch date for The Elder Scrolls Online, but also its transition to buy-to-play this spring. Appropriately titled The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, the monthly subscription fee will no longer be required to play the MMO as of March 17, 2015 on PC/Mac (June for console players).
