At lvl 55 should i go dragonscale leatherworking or elemental or tribunal or what ever its called.

What class are you? Because Dragonscale is for hunters/shamans Tibal is for dunno... maybe Druids... and Elemental is also Druids and rogues. ELemental is more like for Feral druids.

Elemental - Rogues/Druids [Mostly Rogues]
Tribal - Feral/Balance Druids and Rogues [Tribal is mostly Druids]
However, Tribal can also help Shamans out if they wish to wear leather when and if they switch to restoration spec.

You got the information wrong. Allakhazam says the quest level requirement is 55, but it's actually 40 or 45.
Dragonscale is mainly for shamen and hunters. It's also the hardest type of leatherworking. Elemental is for rogues and maybe druids; medium level. Tribal is pointed towards druids, druids, and druids; easy.

Another good question is do you want to make gear for yourself or for other people? Like if your guild has a baker's dozen tribals and no dragonscale people goin dragonscale would make you more useful as a guild member.
Another question is what do you want to farm? I would recommend looking at the synths possible for each specilization which you can do by looking on the right under Tradeskills and click BY TRADE.

I dont have the pattern for the Black boots as Wow has made that both very expensive and long to get even the pattern let alone after that getting some of the mats.

Which would be smarter for a combat swords rogue....Elem or Tri...i would like to have the Devilsaur pieces for the +AP but i heard they are hard to get mats for...would it be smarter to go Elem make the SS pieces and then sell others to buy Devislsaur for vise versa?
