While browsing through the other server forums, I saw that they were doing a Crafters thread so I thought that I would do the same here. Basically how this works is you are wanting to be a craft for hire or are looking for something to be specifically crafted that you are wanting/needing then post here.

If you are a crafter please put what level you are at.

If you are looking for something to be crafted here are some tips that are very useful:

1. Look up the recipe and price the ingredients. Can you afford the ingredients? If not, you won't be able to afford the final result either.

2. How much skill will the crafter need? Remember, multiple skills may be required. Knowing this will help you choose a crafter to ask.

3. Next, compare ingredient cost to the price on the AH. Often, the AH cost will be less than 10% greater than the cost of the materials. If this is the case, you should strongly consider buying it from the AH! There is no risk of the synth failing and losing your materials when you buy from the AH, and no commission to be paid.

4. Is what you are after a HQ result? If so, again consider buying from the AH. A crafter needs skill greatly in excess of the skill required to make the recipes to HQ regularly, and even then there is no guarantees. In other words, there is a reason HQs are priced so dearly.

5. Keep in mind that most crafters are going to have a commission or crafting fee. If for whatever reason you don't agree with this fee or find it to be too much....fine. Find another crafter. Don't come back in here bashing on someone just cause you don't agree with their fee.

My crafting skills are in my signature. Feel free to ask me about crafting something for you. If I'm not busy I will see what I can do to felp you out for the cost of items right now.

Due to recent issues I'm going to make this little comment here:

Lets keep this thread positive. This is an attempt to try and bring this forum back to the way that it used to be. If you have any issues.....DON'T BRING THEM HERE!!!!!!

Well, this is a great idea, and a thread that should be kept near the top.

Unfortunatly, i am only a lvl 90 cook, and most of what i can offer, is about what you can get at the AH. I dont have raw fish handling yet, and most of the time buying from AH will be your best bet since there is no risk.

However, if there is something unusual (not on AH) or less then a stack that someone needs, i am happy to help if i have time.

And FYI, dont ask me to make cheifkabobs. They are EXTREMLY unreliable, and nurfed all to hell. I sometimes get 4 or 5 stacks, and sometimes i end up with 6 stacks of meatkabobs :(

Compared to others, I'm useless. ; ;

Cooking: 56

That's it. 6k towards Raw fish handling (30k gp)

I don't even craft for profit. I've lost hundereds of thousands on cooking. I give most everything to my LS.

But I'll give you the same offer I give my LS. You send me the ingrediants and I'll try to make the item. I won't charge you, even if I manage to HQ it.

Mya.. part of why I get so depressed. Everyone's a cook these days. And so much higher than mi... and I've been playing for nearly a year now! ; ;

Alchemy: 82.2 + Anima Synthesis (going back to guild after obtaining the wood ensorcelment and get the Alchemical Ensorcelment Key Item :-) )
Blacksmithing: 27.9
Goldsmithing: 13
Clothcraft: 13
Leathercraft: 6
Woodworking: 59.0 + Lumberjack (currently trying to get Wood Ensorcelment to synth warp cudgels)
Cooking: 3
Bonecraft: 5

Hoping to get Blacksmithing to 60 and Woodworking to 60 Alchemy to 85. Not sure if I'm going to work smithing or wood past 60 as I'm not really sure how far I want to take Alchemy. I'll probably go for Metal Purification after I get wood ensorcelment and alchemical ensorcelment key items.

It is pretty cool to be able to make a broad variety of items from scratch and I can convert some of the lower priced money loss items into something a bit higher priced with a smaller price loss.

But feel free to send me a /tell ingame if you need an item. If I can make it all you need to do is buy the ingredients :-)

Great thread!

Woodworking ~ 59 w/ Lumberjack

Cooking ~ 29
__

A Grendel Limited Time Offer!!

I will make Darksteel Bolts for you… FOR FREE. That’s right, free!

As long as you provide the ingredients I will craft them for you with no charge. The level cap for this synth is 62 Woodworking, only 3 levels away from where I am right now which means very low breakage. And as some of you know, Darksteel Bolts will Quiver so it’ll save you space too. ^^

I also have Key Item: Lumberjack which means there’s a chance I could HQ the Yew Lumber for you and save you even more gil.* (although, if I remember right Yew lumber is pretty cheap :P )

This offer will end as soon as I hit lvl 62 Woodworking so act fast!

Here’s the ingredients for Darksteel Bolts:

Woodworking (62)
Yield: 33
Crystal: Earth
Darksteel Bolt Heads x1
Yew Lumber x1

And for those who want to take me up on the Yew Lumber Synth (*this is only available to those who are taking the Darksteel Bolts offer):

Woodworking (22)
Yield: 1 (Max: 4)
Crystal: Wind
Yew Log x1

~OR~

Woodworking (22)
Yield: 3 (Max: 12)
Crystal: Wind
Key Item: Lumberjack
Bundling Twine x1
Yew Log x3

Best time to do this is while I’m LFP’ing in Jeuno, and seeing as I’m a lvl 52 thf this means I’m in Jeuno ALL THE TIME lol. I will update this post as soon as the offer has ended.

~First come first serve! All other synths not used for skilling up will have a small negotiable fee. ^_^ ~

Not much to offer, BUT

22 Clothcraft <(^.^)>

If you're trying out fishing like a lot of people are, I can make you Fisherman's hose for sure, and can give a go at the tunica, but I'd want to grab a little support from the guild on it since it's a level 30 craft. As a matter of fact, I'll try anything up to lvl 30 clothcraft. Just lemme know.

Zhaneel:
Bonecraft: 69.6 +1 Protective specs.
Leathercraft: 44

anyone who needs help with anything i craft for free, just bring me the materials, my only requirement which is a fair one is any HQs i get 1/4 of the value of the difference between HQ and normal I.e: if something is worth 10,000 on the AH, and i HQ it and its worth 50,000, i would be paid 50k -10k = 40k * 1/4 = 10k in gratutity. Probably nicer crafters out there but meh, if you need something crafted for free, feel free to ask.

I can just about get anything made you need, just drop me a line in the game. Prices are normally 40K for non HQ, and 120K for HQ.

and no,

Im not going to change you 20K to make a 2K item, it's just a ballpark number. =)
