I just found out that 45 approved a budget that will give me my first raise in the last ten years starting next January. You know, if you ignore the raise this year, 2017, 2016, 2015 ... actually, every year there was at least a percentage increase going back to at least the 1960s. Okay, he misspoke, and actually meant that it was the biggest pay raise in ten years
starting next year, at 2.6% (which, mind you, was Congress' decision, since 45's wanted 2.1%, which is equal to the ECI which is what all the previous raises were based on
) ... which also isn't true since 2010 was 3.4%, and 2009 was 3.9%. Then Paul Ryan has finally come in to say biggest raise in eight years
, which finally makes that statement true.
So I guess what I'm saying is that if you can change enough details in a fiction you can eventually make it true! Edited, May 11th 2018 11:57am by lolgaxe
