Well, I was finally able to go and see this movie. If anyone hasn't seen it, the premisis has Jet Li as a, for lack of a better word, slave/dog. He is basically told to kill people and he goes and does his fighting.

I normally use Rottentomatoes.com as a good source of what a movie is normally going to be like. I saw that it wasn't doing too badly, (about a 65% like rating), so I decided to check it out. Man, am I glad I did.

This movie, first off, had some awesome fight scenes. If I could do half the things that Jet Li does, I would be happy with my life.

The only thing that I heards for bad reviews were, that Jet Li doesn't do a good acting job. They are far from off, or maybe I just didn't expect too much. Jet Li did an amazing job on his role. I could really tell that he got into it and played it well, from my perspective.

Well, my 2c were that it was great. I would give it 3 and a half stars.

Anyone else seen it yet?

Combat maces is a dirty spec. You never come out very clean after beating on people in PvP.

I watched the prescreening. It was okay. Nothing special, but it didn't suck eggs.

I give it a meh.

I dont think they advertised the movie right. Overall I think it was good, although the attraction between jet li and the girl was just a little too lolita like

He's always been very impressive with fighting sequences. When he was in Lethal Weapon 4 I about crapped my pants. But he's never had much in the way of acting skills.

Jet Li is a awesome martial artist. I love his movies and have not seen a really terrible one. I was impressed with Unleashed, both for action and story. The opening sequence of the movie grabs you by the nuts and shows you his skill. If you like him, then check out his other movies.
Hero-fantastic movie...better than Crouching Tiger
Once Upon A Time I China series- all of them excellent
The Defender
Black Mask
The Enforcer
The Swordsman
The Legend

there are many more. The names more and likely have been changed for American release so I don't know the original titles.

Plus in the lines of martial art movies, check these out...

Azumi
Bride with White Hair
Zatoichi-blind Swordsman
Storm Riders
Aragami
Ba-Nok

There are more but it's late at work and brain is failing
