Firstly, I think that professor is full of ****.
Secundy, it tuk my 10 menutes ta *** up wit a repply.
LOL
Seriously, I can't see that this is 100% true, however, may be slightly correct because once a person has had a child, they tend to communicate on a child like level.
After the child arrives, you find new names for things...
**** - ****
bottle - ba ba
pacifier - binky
mother - mama
injury - boo boo
blanket - blankie
toilet - potty
toes - tootsies
****** or ***** - pee pee
Need I go on?
You also try to communicate in a way your child can understand, and sometimes this flows over into your adult conversations. You begin reading Dr. Seuss books instead of your beloved fantasy and romance novels. You begin watching teletubbies, Lazy Town, Spongebob Squarepants and all the other nickelodeon shows instead of Star Gate, The Discovery Channel, and the news. (and some of you, ****)
IMHO I don't think IQ is nearly as important as I once did. I am no longer a stuck-up, snobby, smart *** *****. I am now a caring, giving, and loving mother, which I wouldn't give up for anything.
Being a parent changes MOST people in positive ways and who gives a flying **** what some MORAN in a University study says...
