I see your still in the Mix, I haven't had a chance to do my updates yet cause I activated FFXIV before the cut off date to log on till the new Real reborn comes out and i've been soloing on my own,,, kinda boring. I will run updates tonight for the game POL is up to date. When when I do I'll send you a tell.

When I found my FFXI book and decided I would try and get my character back and play I researched FF14. Decided against it because my main/favorite job is Bard and Bard looked boring with so few songs in FF14.

Sorry if this is a necro thread. I was a long time FFXI Seraph player (taru named Nobuo)... I played from PS2 NA release til about mid 2009, back when the level cap was 75.
I want to experience this game once again. I have kept up with friends and am completely aware that this game is nothing like the FFXI I knew - I'm okay with that. I'm just here to take things for what they are, and enjoy the game one last time.

I was on Seraph. I've been gone for a few years, but curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to poke my head in-game to see what's what. Logistics being what they are, though, I doubt I'll be logged in all that much.

Been back a couple of months myself - SE cancelled my accounts in the Great Crysta Purge of 2011 and I only recently found out that it had again become possible to link them to my CC. I thought I saw an R2K appear in front of me last week, only to warp into the distance, but I put it down to eating too much Green Curry.
All my linkshells are now dead or empty, so I'm looking for a friendly shell, ideally with some familiar Seraphic faces, for social events during EU peak-time.
In the meantime, it looks like nostalgia is not what it was. Good to see you, Ren.

I realize this post was made a month ago, but if you still need a linkshell, I'd talk to Kithcannon. He hooked me up with a pearl to a linkshell that's full of familiar names (and simply familiar faces, in a few cases). I'd offer you one myself, but I play so rarely, you'd go nuts trying to get in touch with me.
