My Free Company website has an RSS feed from ZAM's FFXIV top page. And then one day it would no longer pull in the feed. I checked ZAM to see if it was down, and that's when I realized there had been no new news posts since last September (nearly six months now).

I remember the announcement last June that ZAM would be moving, but the article specifically says, "You shouldn’t be worried about any loss of service with the current sites".

Well, I'm starting to get worried.

ZAM has completed its layout change to a cliché gaming articles site, the part about sites specifically was for their sister sites like LoLking, WoWhead and etc. The forums and the "subsites" including ffxi and eq currently exists as apart of "legacy".

Thanks for the reply, Szabo.

It sounds like some of the staple MMOs that ZAM was built on will no longer get a dedicated focus. That's really too bad. FFXI and FFXIV were the only reasons I've continued to come to this site over the years.

I hope their comment about sites means XIVDB will be sticking around.
