In-Game ForumFollow

i think it would be a really nice addition and easy to implement an In-Game Forum that you can access while sitting around, in other words, you can access it while playing the game or while in the Playonline viewer, but by no means would you have to log out of the game to use it

this would make the Forum easy to access, and i garuntee that it would be used by everyone, no offense to allakhazam here, but that way, players wouldn't have to log out to go find forums to ask questions, when they can just post on the In-Game Forum, sit around or do something else for a while and check it again whenever they feel like it

This forum would spread across all the servers, meaning, there'd have to be a few big general forums for things, but also race, job, and linkshell forum sections, and most importantly, server sections, and if you wanted to make it even more specific, you could have individual race, job, and linkshell forums for each server as well as a big general one (that way, one doesn't have to sift through each server looking for an answer if someone posts it in a big general forum, although server forums would be recommended)

and to make things easier, i did mention linkshell forums, well, you could look at it as a place where people look to recruit members and join ls's, but i think it would be an even better idea if either: 1. people could create their own forum sections in a specific part of the forum place, or 2. create a forum for every Linkshell registered

number 1 would be for more like people that create static parties and such, but then, they'd probably already be in the same linkshell, so ignore number 1

but number 2 is a great idea! if you make a new linkshell, an automatic system or something would add a forum for you named "XXXXX" (that of course being your linkshell name), in the linkshell forum section of your server's forum

the main thing would be, don't make forums so that you can only post in a forum for your own server, have a place where messages can be posted, read, and replied to by people of all servers, that way it wouldn't be terribly restrictive, and it would make for a better ffxi community

good idea? bad idea? what do you think?
