Facebook > Myspace any day of the week.

Though, with competition between the two, they both done stupid things to mimic each other, totally neglecting the fact that some people prefer the differences.

Facebook started off relatively plain in comparison to myspace, but then started to add a lot of stuff.

I finally got a facebook account a few weeks ago. I like that they don't allow for complete revamps of your profile page. The thing I hate about Myspace the most is how many people break every rule of web design with their profiles. Overly complicated/animated backgrounds + transparent text boxes + transparent text = NIXNOT SMASH! Also, forcing me to listen to whatever sh*tty emo band you're currently cutting yourself to is not what I want to be assaulted with when I visit your page.

Facebook is just a lot cleaner and uniform, which makes it lightyears better than myspace. There is still roughly the same percentage of stupids on both though. You're still going to be inundated with invites and app requests, and stupid gifts, and other miscellaneous spam, but it seems so much less harsh on facebook because it's not accompanied by glittery animated backgrounds, obnoxious noise, and unreadable text.

I have enough friends on both Facebook and Myspace without advertising the links to the likes of "you people" (blatant setup). Besides, I'm already here so you dont really need me on your friends list there. If you really care though send me a pm and I'll reply with the link.

That's my excuse anyway.

I took an idle gander for you except that your name isn't exactly unique and I didn't feel like sifting through 35 pages of "Jane Doe".

So we are at an impasse.

Somehow I think if I met Joph in real life I would be tempted to call him Jophiel Pangolin or something like that, the real name couldn't live up to the legend at this point Smiley: laugh

The first one to call me Kali was Nobby, though.
I like it b/c it sounds Commie European.

Also, there is one person who I've seen on Myspace and Facebook and I'm sure she's posting here, I just don't know who she is. It's confusing.

This. I've "known" Sam from the boards for several years. We've also played WoW together. I still have no idea what her real name is, I'm only relatively certain she's a she, and she could be purple for all I know.

I once PM'd Samira and mentioned that I knew little about her as a person after six years. She told me to f*ck off. This is a true story.
