Either/Or

One way we gte to make gay jokes .
The other, he's a talented musician that just happens to use his poo-ring for the purpose. Either way, I see fun times ahead!

I was reminded. I can reliably drain any full watch battery flat in half an hour by wearing the watch on my wrist while doing a particular type of meditation.

That reminds me, I had a watch that traveled in time. I set it down once on a shelf in my room when I was 8. I didn't see it again for 3 years. I tore that shelf apart looking for it several times. Never found it until one day i walked in the room and poof, there it was sitting exactly where I had left it three years ago.

It was one of those digital divers watches with a calendar that had a year function.

It was still set to the same year I lost it...

I'm strong as an ox.

I read It when I was in 4th grade.

I was the only kid in the GATE class who wasn't in advanced math.

Most of what I know about computers I had to learn myself through trial and error, thus leading friends and family to think I'm some kind of computer whiz. (lol yeah right)

I have a relatively high threshold for pain.

I never discover cool things until the fad has almost run out.

What an interesting thread this turned out to be. Smiley: smile

I can sometimes predict which song is coming up next on my iPod on shuffle mode, and start singing along with it, in the right key, the instant it starts.

The "tuning note" (concert Bb) is permanently etched into my mind.

I can hear when there are old-style monitors on in a room, even if the computer itself is off, by the high-pitched sound that most people I've met can't hear.

I'm a sucker for a conspiracy theory.

_____

Speaking of which...

Why aren't more people amazed by Ari's claim, to be able to drain watch batteries? I've heard something like this before. A guy I used to work with said that after his time in the Navy, he couldn't use electric watches anymore, because they stopped working. Why isn't this phenomena studied? Why isn't it front page news? There's something extraordinary going on, but it's one of those things people don't dwell on, even though to me it's astonishing.

Take a PhD in Electrical Engineering & Physics, or Biology, maybe, and write your thesis on it.

Hmm, lets see:

I can keep a ten year old computer on the verge of death running for months at a time.

I can wrap and sticker fifty, one pound packages of ground beef in under three minutes.

I can straight tank Kirin on my Dark Knight.

I can keep an absolute straight face when confronted with utter hilarity.

I for some reason have an uncanny ability to win contests.

That's about all I can think of at the moment.

I also have a cross-shaped scar on my left wrist, however I usually hide it with a watch.

It really is a fun conversation starter!

Ash, are you talking about the noise old TVs make that people hear when you turn the sound off? I don't think that's particularly special. Or can you hear it when the sound is turned on?

Also, I can sleep on the full-on floor of a Psytrance party without being on drugs.

Or, she can smell the t-butyl mercaptan or the thiophane that they add in order for people to smell it because Natural Gas is virtually odorless. So all in all, that's really not remarkable.

I'm guessing you're not a smoker Ari.
