I'm a fast reader if I like a particular book; Like the Star Wars X-Wing series (9 books) took me about a week to finish.
Mind you I was reading them at work.. 12hr shifts of mostly sitting around.

I am double jointed. (I can kind of bend my arms backwards. It looks really gross.)
I can accurately mimic just about any voice I hear on TV.
I once had a 1.5 inch long "tooth" grow out of the roof of my mouth.

I think I might be a mutant.

My brother read the last Harry Potter book in under 3 hours. He reads crazy-fast.

Also, I can play the harp. But nearly exclusively Christmas songs.

I can say the Pledge of Allegiance in 6 seconds, apparently.

Things I know and/or can do today that I didn't know or couldn't do 5 years ago:

I can tell you what region of the world a cup of coffee is from just by smelling and tasting it.
I can read most contracts and understand them.
I can get a crowd of people to dance the funky chicken.
I know what a pentatonic scale is.
I can play Texas Hold-Em with reasonable skill.

I work work the majority of the lighting crap, sound crap, and various other instruments on a movie set.
I can program a synthesizer.
I can play a couple sweet techno songs on that synthesizer.
I can almost always remember all the words of a song after hearing it once. At least, if it's an interesting song.

Otherwise, I'm lame. :(

Hmm, lets see. Odd skills eh?

  • I can make a tray of 4 soft pretzels, starting from 4 lumps of dough in under 30 seconds.
  • I got to pilot a 65 foot long Retired WWII US minesweeper under a 2 billion dollar bridge.
  • I got to fly a C-47 over Prescott, AZ for a while.
  • I read really, really fast (oh, and ******** to the guy who said he read all of WoT in a single day. First three books I might believe...)
  • I can control the weather. Specifically make the wind stop whenever I wsh by breaking out a stunt kite, or cause mass obliteration to any vacation spots I visit directly proportional to the amount of time I spend there. (Hurricaine Katrina, 1 week after I stayed in New Orleans for 1 week. Chicago flooding after allanois), Houstan hit by hurricane three years to the day after I had lived there for 3 years. Etc.). I don't do it on purpose though!
  • I write equilly bad with either hand.
  • I used to be 6th place in the state of Washington at chess.
  • I grow unusually large feet

Thats all I can think of at the moment, aside from my legendary spelling ablity of course.

Do you have a bed of feet, or do you grow them in the house?
#47 Jan 29 2009 at 3:13 PM Rating: Good
All of these are quite rubbish.

I can bend my left finger backwards so far it touches the back of my hand.

Just the ones attached to my legs. They are sometimes in a bed, and sometimes in the house!
