I live in Japan, and the only English T.V. shows I get are the ones I download the torrents to. The problem is that all my favourite T.V. shows have ended this season and I'm needing a fix of more T.V. Does anyone have any suggestions? The shows I watch are:

1. Lost
2. Carnivale
3. The Amazing Race
4. The Contender
5. The Apprentice
6. The Apprentice U.K.
7. C.S.I.
8. C.S.I. N.Y.
9. C.S.I. Miami
10. Doctor Who
11. The Simpsons
12. South Park
13. The Family Guy
14. Battlestar Galactica
15. Joey

Thanks in advance.

I like a few of the shows you've listed. Try and see if you can download any episodes of 24.

Couple suggestions:
1. American Dad: Done by guy who did Family Guy and has obvious similarities, some say the show isn't as good but I'd have to say it's still pretty decent.
2. The 4400: Slightly corny sci-fi show, but still popular among some.
3:Tom Goes to the Mayor and also Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Odd cartoon shows that are sorta good if you can find the torrents for them.

It's about damn time someone else watches Tom goes to the mayor!

That show is so awful, it's hilarious. I can't stand other shows
that feature 'uncomfortable awkwardness', but this one is just
hilarious.

As for other shows Americans (should) enjoy, let's see...
Well you named most of the good ones and a lot of those haven't
ended or anything. One big hit here is American Chopper on the
discovery channel.
Even if you don't care for motorcycles, most people are
instantly enthralled by the Wrath of Senior, the Sloth of Junior
and the comedic antics of Mikey.

Pretty much any animated comedies on adultswim are good, also.

Try Deadwood.

Two full seasons to download and watch now. If you can find them.

One thing.

Carnivale has since been cancelled.

But for a few select shows in your list, most of what you watch is crap.

I suggest reading.

Doh its all true! It was my favourite show. It was a cross between Lost, Twin Peaks, and X-Files. I can't believe they ended the show after the cliffhanger of the last episode. It's like George Lucas not making return of the Jedi. Woe is me. Lets hope they don't cancel Lost.

Oh and by the way everyone, thanks for your suggestions. I have put my fibre optic cable to the test and it is now downloading all of your suggestions. I started watching Deadwood last night. I like it. It just confuses the hell outta me at the moment.

I can't believe it either, it was the best show out there. It was a show you could not miss a second of, you really had to pay atention, which HBO said was the problem, the "average joe" could not follow it. What utter bull$%$^ to cancel a show because it was not dumbed down enough, I find 95% of tv to be an insult to my intelligence and a show like Carnivale is a rare find.

One show to add is the totally hilarious "Trigger Happy TV" a cross between candid camera and jackass.

I think you are only missing 24, American Dad and the Chappelle Show.

I recommend "Curb Your Enthusiasm". You can probably download that.

I discovered a new show last night which was friggin hilarious. Its new though, so you probably can't download it. Its called "Back to Norm", starring Norm McDonald. It comes on Comedy Central, and i saw it at 10:30 p.m. Eastern. I don't know if thats its original time slot.

And "The Contender" was my favorite show in recent history. Too bad there probably won't be another season (except for the rematch that they shamelessly plugged in the final episode).

If it was on last night, the torrents will be on there today. Computer pirates are ingenious.

What's this? There's not going to be a second season?

I was previously informed "The Contender" was set to have another season with a different weight class.

I'd rather watch midgets battle it out. No, retarded midgets!

Is that at all politcally incorrect? Hahahaha.

What about old retarded emaciated midgets? Wait, that wouldn't really work, they'd just kinda flail around. What if we trained newborns to fight to the death? That's some good, wholesome television.

How about they recruit the midget from Carnivale? He seems to be out of a job.

Is it illegal to throw midgets if they don't get hurt?

You'll be walking down the street and see a midget. You pick
him up and toss him as hard as you can in the direction he
was walking. His arms flail and tiny legs squirm as he flips
through the air. He lands safely on his feet, sneers at you
and continues on his way.
Was a law broken here? If not, then I'm going to have a new hobby.
