Hello! I'd like to add! For my AF1 today, my friend (64RDM/BLM) and I (57WHM/BLM) went. Built up TP before going up and spawning. Stoneskin/Haste/Blink/Regen/Spikes for me and add Phlanyx/Refresh for RDM. Simple simple fight. Not any sort of record time, but not like we ran out of MP or even ran low on HP. I can see this easily taken solo by a lvl 60 RDM. I don't think I as a WHM could have solo'd it due to WHMs low strength, but easily RDM could solo it.

Also, a note to add, you must remember to complete any other hands quest before being able to get it for a second job. It's just the way of the game.

I'd like to know if anyone has confirmed rather or not you can go as any other job to do the AF2, AF3, and Dark Spark fights.. Seeing as my WHM will always be higher than my BRD, I'd rather go as that job. I know I have to open the coffers as BRD, but if I don't have to fight as it, I'd be so happy.

AF2 NM solo'd by 70BST, used 2 funguars, took 5minutes or so, would have taken less time but i didn't realize I ran out of courier carries before i ran thru beaucadine glacier -_-

AF2 Quest notes:

I went and popped the three NM and pulled Yum Kimil back and killed it solo. Then I let the others despawn and examined the same Sarcophagus. Nothing happened.

I popped them again, and killed them all this time with a group. Not only did I get my CS, but the other BRD with the quest active did as well, despite what the guide says about helping others and not getting credit.

So a couple of questions on AF3 - The Circle of Time. It appears as though I can do this with any job, correct? I've done all the preliminary stuff, so all that remains is to kill Bugaboo, and return to Chalvato.

After killing Bugaboo one has to re-examine the altar for a cut-scene? It's not clear.

Also, if multiple bards are doing this, is it necessary to fight Bugaboo more than once, or after one pops it and the party kills, the others in the party can get the cut-scene by re-examing the altar?

Thanks for your help..

Note:

AF3 can be done as any job. I burried the ring, dug it up, and popped Bugaboo as a DRG.

AF3 note - The Altar is at I-8, not J-8.

J-8 requires you to go up into Davoi again, through the Wall of Banishing and down to where there is an NM with true sight. We eventually realized there is no Altar there, but it did cost us 3 deaths. It is at I-8, in the little roundish dead-end room there. Instead of turning right to go up to Davoi, just go straight.

K. Well you have to admit "PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING" sounds more like "Since you are new, and you don't know how to post, this is how to do it properly. This is what not to say, what to say, what not to ask, what to ask, how to ask. etc. etc. etc."

Might want to rename it (if possible) to something like, "The frequently updated Bard forum links list" - or - "Now with 100% more links" - or - "Bardish Links" - or - "something that isn't "PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING""

just seems like an extremely non-descriptive name for such an important post.

"The Stickied Sticky FAQ- Read first if you need a sticky"
I read that before posting for a sticky. Because it was properly titled. Don't blame me for posting for a sticky because I didn't read the increadably vaguely titled sticky at the top of the bard job forum when I've been posting here for well over a year and thus have posted here w/o reading (the then non-existant post) many times and had never been verbaly challenged in the past.

Logic would dictate that such an important post would have a less vague and (childishly) demanding title.
