Cost 180k Up to 36 people that is 5k per person

What can I win?
After defeating all the enemies in a chamber, an armoury crate will appear in the middle of the room. Here is a sample of some of the treasures that can be discovered in the chests:

1. Key Items
Upon clearing a chamber, all players will receive a key item that signifies they assited in the clearing of the area. There is one for each room, and all nine will be required for entry into the final chamber, Valgrind.

*The key items will vanish at the moment of entry into Valgrind.
*Players who clear the 10th chamber will be awarded a pass that allows them entry to any of the other nine chambers without having to clear each wing in succession.

image 2. Therion Ichor
Players will also receive ampoules of therion ichor depending on the number and type of enemies that appeared in the chamber. These can be used to purchase various valuable items from Kilusha in Nashmau.

*All players will receive the same amount of ichor, regardless of their battle record.

image 3. Abjurations
Several types of new and old abjurations can be obtained from the crates. All cursed items and abjurations should be taken to Alphollon C Meriard for "spiritual cleansing."

Now I got a few 75 jobs non with any abjs well because I hate sky and endgame drama. This seems like a fun Instanced way to get your abjs. Just wonder how BST friendly this is.

I can see it now get a dozen+ BST and some support jobs and wreak havock. 5k every 3 days is much better chances of you getting sexi god gear then whoring your self out for ages. IMHO

Yeah, depends on which ones drop though. I mean, at least half the abjurations in Sky practically are free lotted anyway, so if it's those then meh.

If it means we can go in and get some A/E/M/W bodies and the like, then that's awesome. I never figured on getting an E. Body for BST...but this might make that a possibility.

"w0w SE hooked bst up, zomgwtf we have awesome charmables in Einj"
it was looking good since I seen that one of the mobs listed
were bats, till i seen ur post. Maybe some of the rooms will have good
pets to use and others will be uber weak to juggies *crosses-fingers*
Hopefully I'll get to play next time and get an E.body abj. ><

I know it's a bit early to be asking for specific details regarding the new battle system since many people may not have tried it yet (Including myself), but since someone may already knows the answer to my question I'll throw it out there...

Are the number of mobs you fight dependent on the number of people entering? As in, if you have 6 people enter the battlefield you have fewer mobs and if you have the full 36 you have quite a few more? Sort of similar to Garrison?

I didn't see any update information that would lead me to think that this was how it worked but I'm just sort of hoping that it will be the case so that my static will have something fun to do as a smaller group :-/ Anyone know if this is the case? I'm hoping to find out one way or another before trying it because I'd rather not waste the gil going into a battle with 6 people if we have absolutely no chance of winning.

Thanks for any input!

Einherjar = mass death..

It is way harder then dyanmis (until a strategy is found atleast)

We went in with roughly 36 people.....mobs where waxing me for 200+ per hit..we lasted about 5min with them.

From what i hear a couple people have cleared their area's, but not many.

Basically you enter, there will be a group of mobs (same class) + one boss + one random mob. there is a good thread on this in the endgame forum so i'm not going to go into much detail.

Several of the chambers have Bats/Birds/Tigers - I have yet to read if they are charmable but SE may have thrown us a bone.

Other Chambers seem to be undead and/or beastmen and various other non-charmable.

Doubt it, the new assault areas have regular mobs in them too, none of which are charmable. LotB did this last night (unfortunately I was not part of it, took 2 hours to DL the update...grrr) and they wiped horribly. But from reading the boards, that is not uncommon.

Apparantly, pet pulling does not work, everything mass links. Gonna have to feel it out a bit, work out a strat.

Maybe SE did throw a bone!

So after we became unweakened, we thought we would try having a summoner use Carbuncle to pull only one skeleton. IT WORKED! But.. as soon as the 1 skeleton got to our group and we attacked it, the rest came running at us. We were far enough away that HP aggro was not the case. So the mobs have some sort of shared hate or shared alliance aggro attribute to them. Anyhow, we ended up wiping a second time and our time expired.

So what do you think, 10-15 bst + 10-15 smn should kick ***... and wouldn't gain hate from the rest of the group.. 15-20 pets on one of those mobs..it's not going to last long at all.

Kingofmonsters from Remora tried last night. We got the room with Skellys and Doomed mobs in it. It seems that hate is shared between all the same type mob. For instance, we sent a crab on a skelly. All of the skellys in the room came running to have a crab feast, and once the crab was dead they decided to eat BST. And not just the BST who sent the crab, ALL of us.

Once we RR'd up we decided to try a doomed type mob. Exact same result, plus we found out the mobs here are true sight/sound (at least it seemed that way). In addition to the Doomed we pulled and all his kin, our puller managed to aggro another skelly on the way back. We were all literally LOLing at the giant train that was created and at the speed and efficiency that they managed to dispatch our entire alliance, crabs and all.

So they have a big aggro range (one of our members used RR a bit too early...they all came running back to kill him again), link to their own kind, and like the taste of adventurer.

We've read the post on the main forum, and are devising a plan for Friday night. If there are any BST shells that are successful on this, please post and suggestions or strategies. We'd love not to loose 7K exp again...

Good luck on your journey and may the dirt in your zone taste good.
