This game is, essentially, maths. There are few cases in which "different styles" yields the same results. We know how dex tiers for crit hits works, more or less. We can work out at which point stacking it becomes beneficial, and when it will do nothing. Stacking it "just because" won't work - we're not talking about a WS here where dex is a direct damage modifier, like it is on Blade Jin or Dancing Edge.
Furthermore, most things on this forum that are "cookie cutter" are that way because they work, not because of mindless conformity.
