I made all my Haubergeon money Mining in Ifrit's Cauldron.
Its dangerous but exciting. Give it about 3 weeks of mining and you should be good. Just make sure to mine on Full Moon and New Moon. Best chance of the big ores. Take about 3-4 stacks of picks and of course you've got to have Field Gear. Once you learn the layout it's not that Scary anymore. Still one slip up and your dead. Good Luck.

Wow, our haubs are 2.6 million atm, same with hauberks.
However the ingot is slowly starting to climb in price.
Perhaps I should start stockpiling these for the future. XD

Haub has now hit 5mill on Fairy (not as bad as 7mill) So im bypassing this and gettting a Byrnie since its only 3.6mill roughly, going to be doing some more farming and what not till Haub comes back down trade in the Byrnie and get my Haub.

How much is your damascus ingot then?
If there's only a spread of 1-2 million from NQ to HQ, there would be no reason to ever purchase NQ.
Atm, we are 2.6 NQ and 7 mill HQ. So the crafters still have some profit left there.
