BLM Maat fight

I'm going to be doing the BLM Maat fight for my friend who is currently on vacation. I'm somewhat familiar with the general strategy, having messed around with blm mobs solo before. Still, i'd feel comfortable asking around here.

So any advice? (and how come there isnt a blm maat sticky?)

Wait till your friend gets home, because he is the one who needs to do it. Or in other words, he deserves it.

Black mage Maat fight seems like one of the funnest, from the videos I've watched.

Definitely let your friend do it, he should really enjoy it.

I would've loved blowing him up on a Black mage rather than fighting him on Monk.

did my maat fight as a 67 taru, skills not capped ^^
tried him twice on lvl 66 but i forgot some things, (including to use RR because i was nervous)

i buffed (blinkband-ice spikes-food-RR)
me-> freeze 550 dmg
maat-> blaze spikes
me-> ES sleepga II
me-> aspir
me-> freeze 60dmg >.< (i didn't expect to win at this point)
maat-> flood
me-> stun
me-> bio II
maat-> firaga III
me-> eating dust (770 dmg >.<)
me->RR-manafont-freeze 500 dmg

i would not do your friends maat fight, HE HAS TO DO IT! it's a great feeling you get from wooping his old a**. :-p
