Person who got the hands dropped them immediately after.
Idk what to say about all that.
I would never be in a shell like that. Reading your post made me furious.
If nobody wants the item except one person, isn't it in the shell's best interest to give them the damn item? Maybe you get someone who grabs an item and never comes back. Oh well, not like you really lost anything. On the other hand, maybe you have a first timer who gets an item and really appreciates it then becomes a valuable regular. You want people to LIKE the LS, not resent it.
Yesterday in Dyna-Sandy a first time MNK was there, Melee Hose dropped. Nobody else needed it, so the MNK gets it. I hope he enjoys them and comes back for more Dyna. If not, it doesn't affect me or the LS and I wish the guy best of luck. Who knows, maybe some day in the future the same MNK will be in a merit party with me or helping me on a mission and I'll get a direct benefit.

That are BS rules indeed. At the very least, it should have been a free-lot between those with the job level to equip them (70+), followed by those 60+ and 1+. Items should never be force junked just because someone doesn't have the points for it. If you had points for minimum you should pay for it (or in this case whatever you had left), obviously.
Yes.
