Is it possible to learn Frightful Roar at Phomiuna Aqueducts? All of the requirements seem to be there- but my own experiences along with many others that I've read / heard have shown another reality. I have not heard of anyone obtaining Frightful Roar fromt the Taurus in Phomiuna Aqueducts.

I could never get the skill from there, and about 90% of all the blus on the planet would agree. There were even one or two blus that reported doing close to 30h in the aquaducts and not getting the skill from there. While a small handful report you can. Personally after what I went through to get this skill. I think that who ever got the skill in the aquaducts actually misspelled Sacrarium. A majority of the Blu's that farm for ages in aquaducts for the skill run off to sacrarium and get the skill in a few kills. Although it is easier to get it form there, contrary to popular belief it is almost impossible to get someone to go into a cap zone for very obvious reasons. If a Blu has the skill, unless they are a friend, they wont reenter sacrarium for anything. Other option is to get 75's together and have them rape the stuff in U.Range. My camp for this was the little tunnel place near where the Snow Maiden pops. There is this nice open place where nothing pops just before the tunnel where my friends killed the Taurens. This is a very useful skill so keep at it. Keep trying to get it in aquaducts cause they are very easily soloable in there, and it is an option for if you don't have fire support for u.range or sarcarium for that very moment. But at the end of the day you will be going into one of the other two places.
Get Sacrarium access.

(Funny aside: In a BLU duo-group trying to get it, Codex dropped first mob. Other BLU, who had one, had said he'd talked to people who camped them for 4-5 hours to get one. We also had no TH.)

I learned this spell in Phomiuna.. kinda.. read on
A friend of mine was helping me withstand the 10 minute beatings from the doomed mobs in Phomiuna to get them to use Stinking Gas. After the third or fourth failed learn attempt, he suggests killing Taurus mobs for my Frightful Roar. we alternate two of the Taurus, then the Doomed for awhile. Got Stinking Gas. My friend and I are both getting sleepy. We both agree to fight one last mob and call it a night. ZOMG! Learn! I was so happy. After we got out of Phomiuna, I immediately went out to Lufaise to test it out. Fun times! It made a noticeable diff in mob attack! I was happy! During a lvl 50 party in Garlaige, I went to equip it, hoping to help out the PLD tank. It was gone! :O I triple checked and my jaw dropped! Then I ranted on LS. Then I called a GM about it. I got some joker that didn't speak English. Here's a post of that convo:

(It wasn't actually a week, it was more like 3 days, but yeah I'm not cutting a GM any slack here :P)
So.. frustrated, my friend offers to duo w/ me in Sacrarium. It takes forever, but I finally RE-learn the ability. Now I worry about spells randomly disappearing from my spell list. :/
Oh, preemptive answer to questions like, "Are you sure you were in Phomiuna and not Sacrarium when you learned?" "Are you sure you learned the spell at all?" or statements like "Dood yoo musta been in da wrong part mebbe da Sacraraioam thing and thot yoo wuz in teh Phomulumohan duck thingy?"
I was in Phomiuna. Lvl 40 cap. 3 Taurus mobs near a ladder.
I learned the spell in Phomiuna and used it shortly after.
I later re-learned the spell in Sacrarium, ever so slightly faster than in Phomiuna.

I think aquaduct is to low for the spell which is why you will have one hell of a time learning it. i soloed it in sacrium.
