Drachen Finger Gauntlets +1 = ACC for me?Follow
Has anyone else noticed a subtle difference between Drachen Finger Gauntlets and the +1? The regular says "Enhances Wyvern Accuracy" while these say "Wyvern: Increases Accuracy." If I'm not mistaken, this means that while the regular AF gives your wyvern improved accuracy, these improve your accuracy while your wyvern is out. Is this accurate?
Pretty sure it means the same thing. Your Wyvern gets the boost.
Like items that say Wyvern: HP+50.

i have no idea what the significance of the different wording is, but you can test your own hypothesis easily.
find a mob, and equip just enough ACC gear so that if you equip any more, the /check message changes (say from neutral to low evasion). call your wyvern. if the /check message changes, your ACC went up. if it doesn't, it didn't.

This has come up prolly a hundred times and is easily proven by looking at wyvern mail. Having a wyvern out doesnt give you 50 more HP, it gives the wyvern 50 hp. Who knows maybe SE was trying to be accurate with the gear descriptions on the new dragoon equips since "Gives wyvern support job abilities" does nothing of the sort.

I'm sorry if this has "come up 100 times before". I don't pay for a premium account, so I can't search the forums. Anyway, I was previously under the impression that SE kept the same pattern when listing effects on equipment and assumed that nay variation ment that the effect was different. However, the Wyvern Mail is a good example of variaition in the effect discriptions and I now have to agree that it's very likely that, although worded differently for no apparent reason, the normal and +1 versions of the AF hands have the same effect. Dissapointing, but not unexpected. Just thought I'd check.

Looking at other equipment don't prove anything, and I have never seen anyone mention this before, could you please link to another thread where this was brought up?
I think it has different wording just to show that wyvern get more accuracy from the +1 then the NQ. Anyone that got them mind trying this out?

Brutal gives you Double Attack. Suppanomimi doesn't give you Dual Wield.
As to the other point... the wording is a bit tricky. I guess the only way to really know for sure is with what milich said(I hear some beliefs have named him 'God' for short). Since getting the gloves+1 is a bit of work for something that can be replaced by other rather easy to obtain items for any normal purpose, EXCEPT if they do indeed boost Accuracy... maybe try finding someone who already has and patiently test it with him?
If SE releases a AF+1 storage ability in the next update, I'll get them and test myself... but otherwise not worth the money I could sell coins for, or the effort of leading runs to zones no one needs anything from, just for my high odds of DRG materials.

i own them, they boost wyvern accuracy not your own. the only acc boost you get is from the dex+6. Just like every single piece of "wyvern: gets bonus equip". They effect your wyvern not give you a boost while the wyvern is out. I have every piece of equip with that bonus wording except puk lance and they all effect wyvern not you.
