Are you talking about the lower levels boots that gave +4 jump accuracy? There called Volan's Greaves if so.

every one was really poed about it when ToAU first came out then no one knew how to get them so every one kinda forget about them.

neither IS or AP. and they more than likely do exist, maybe even one of the items found during Assault. somepage and alla-k always get information really late, so don't be surprised if no info pops up on these before early 2007.

Dead is right. Sometimes it takes a long time for items to show up here at Alla, and occassionally you will find newly introduced items before old items. Like Chivalrous Chain. That thing took months to get added here. Even the Fowling Earring which came after C Chain was added before :P

Call me a buzzkill, but for all intent and purposes, doesn't the AF Boots does exactly the same damn thing, free to get, and usually isn't even used outside jump macro?

some people were worried it imparted the jump ability to the wearer
While there is a few equipment that grants job traits (resist effect and killer effect comes to mind, also regen and refresh), there is no single known equipment that actually grants job abilities.

There are items that grant job abilities; however it's usually charges. The item that comes to mind that i'm too lazy to find is that helm that gives you 100 provokes and it drops from fafnir? Some dragon. Regardless these boots don't look all that special.
those items indeed exist, but obviously the boot doesn't have charge on it.
so let's skip the obvious exception that is reviler's helm and that meditate torque...and just say the chances of the boot granting jump ability is more or less zero, and whoever actually think it does either have overactive imagination, or slightly retarded.
