RELIC KNUCKLES ----- STAGE 2 COMPLETEFollow

Last night I finally collected all 14 M.Silverpieces and traded them to the gob NPC in Castle Zvahl Baileys. I am expected to have my new weapon Dynamis Knuckles by next THR since it takes 1 Earth Week for the npc to make the new knuckles.

I am very happy to have come this far and I intend to keep moving on. I am posting this thread to get any information I can about stage 3. I know that I need an Attestation Of Might that drops off of a Hydra Monk NM in dynamis Beaudecine. Here are some of the questions I have I was wondering someone can answer for me.

1) Where in Dynamis-Beaudecine can the Hydra NM be found? Any
idea as to its whereabouts, how to get there?

2) How to successfully engage and kill the Hydra Monk NM. Does
it have any particular weakeness or strength? Anything to watch
out for? I am hearing rumors that it "disappears" or "warps away" during fight and you have to constantly track him down like the Mega Boss Mob in Dynamis-Beaudecine? can someone comfirm that?

3) How many currencies do I need to complete stage 3 and what
type of currency? I am guessing it might be Windy currency
since my first 2 stages required currencies from bastok and
sandoria respectively. I am also getting unconfirmed
information that it takes 6400 single currencies. Some saying it takes 6100 and some stating only 1600. While they may differ for each relic weapon I just want someone to confirm what type and how many currencies are needed for Relic Knuckles

4) Any websites that provided detailed information about relic
WS and how to acquire them would be greatly appreciated.

There is no turning back now since I am already half-way there. I would appreciate any positive feedback I can get. Final Heaven is one of my dreams and while some argue that its a fool's errand I believe that it tells how much you love your job and how far you are willing to go to better your MNK even more.

6400 Byne bills, approximately 100 to 300 drop each dynamis run. I have seen them sold is in player bazaar, however is very rare, cost is 4,000 to 10,000 each. Assume 6,400 divided by 300 is 21 Dynamis journeys. 3 hours time also 1,000,000 gil Hourglass each session, maximum allowance of players is 64. So, perhaps, final cost for one person to receive this is 3,840 man hours, 20,000,000 gil, also 5 day ban on Dynamis re-entry makes 105 real world day.

I have been told the fourth coming upgrade is perhaps double this.

i went to mystery tour. they dont have enough info past stage 3 and they dont have any info about what currency and how many coins as far as relic knuckles go.



can u be 100% sure that it is infact 6400 currencies and most importantly is it Byne Bills to upgrade Relic Knuckles for stage 3? It would really suc to get 6400 coins only to find out it was the wrong currency all along. Different relic weapons require different currencies for different stage and the amount of coins vary in number. So plz forgive me if I sound too guarded but I would like to be 100% sure that I am collecting the right currency for stage 3 of my relic knuckles.

Anyone have any website or url they can guide me to that lists everything accordingly, i m all ears.

OK from what I gather I am 99% sure that the currency that I will need is going to be Windurst Currency, namely the jade and white shells. I looked at quite a few sites and went back to mysterytour and noticed that for their relic weapon, first and 2nd stages required currencies from 2 different nations further strenthening my belief that for the 3rd upgrade the currency needed will be of the LAST nation left. I searched alakazam and found the information on RELIC GUN QUEST. So far it is the ONLY COMPLETE RELIC WEAPONSKILL QUEST that I have come across. It lists eveything for that particular quest from items to currencies and how to obtain them. I browsed at the currencies and lo and behold it requires 3 different currencies from the sandoria, bastok and windurst for each stage. Further more the link that Archain provided made the case even stronger since all 3 stages of the relic scythe quest also require currencies from each nation.

So now I know that I ll be hunting down L.shells and J.shells and thats a good start. The number of currency is still not clear but somewhere to be around 6100-6400. I m going to try to dig up some stuff on the HYDRA NM and its wherabout.
