I'm cross-posting this from the update thread in this forum, because I think it's reasonably valuable info for any post-30 Monks out there suffering from a lack of invites:

Here's a thought for all the Monks in the hellish stretch of 50-60.

Have any of you done the new ENM fights yet?

I did the ENM today in Promy-Dem (First successful run on Remora :P), and it was incredibly easy! The party setup was myself as MNK/WAR, with SMN/RDM, WAR/NIN, RNG/NIN, RDM/BLM and BLM/WHM. We didn't need to use any 2HR's, Anima or anything special; I would say it's even easier than many of the XP mobs I've been levelling off of lately.

You get 3K XP for each Promy ENM, it doesn't require Tavnazia access, and you can do all three in a row, not just one of your choosing per five days RL. Basically, if you can get a static group together in your LS of people over 30, you can marathon all three once or twice per week for an extra 9K each full run. If you've completed further Promathia missions, this opens up even more ENM's and more extra EXP per week! Now you've got something very productive to do that will go towards levelling, without all the hours sitting around LFG.

Sure, it's unlikely you'll level the whole way through like that, but I think it's a great oppurtunity and is very easily doable by any balanced EXP party. And you don't have to worry about level gaps, either!

Now this sounds too good to be true. 3K Exp. per fight!!!! I understand that you can only do this every 5 Earth days, but that just sounds like an inordinately large amount of XP. I really hope this is true since we monks do have a problem getting through the 50's this is a great way to get through that. 9K Exp. every 5 days is better than what most monks see in a normal LFG situation during those lvls. Heck, it's better than what I saw for 2 months at lvl 40 without a single invite.

The only problem I foresee is that you'd need a static to do this as we all know monks are almost always passed over for any sort of BC fight. This being a 6 person fight might help, but I'm not holding my breath waiting for an invite to this from anyone. Definitely going to have to get my LS going on this.

Yeah its true, I wanted to do one with my LS on update day, but I wasn't able to stay on due to prior engagements. They did Prom-Mea ENM, only one of them survived, heh. They weren't expecting to win, just playing around, so that's prolly why they lost.

I'm hoping we're doing the other two on Sunday, but never know.

peace,
CR

Could you guys post more info on how to do these? I heard that you have to get a key item from somewhere. I also have some questions about this

How effective is melee damage against them?

Do animas work on them?

Do you have to complete the promyvion before you can enter the ENM battlefield?

Well the bosses for the ENMs are just like the actual prom bosses, except a tidbit easier. I am told that animas do work.

I ********** the real Proms as MNK/WAR, so you should be alright in these. And no, you don't need to finish the proms to do this.

peace,
CR

Heh, I'm looking forward to trying one of these.

I remember getting killed easily by the Promy-Dem boss when i first did it, but then it was the first time most of us had done it, and I was a War/Mnk...so not much of a suprise.

My LS is having a Promy-Holla run tonight...maybe I can convince them to go through twice and do an ENM <_< Could do with some easier exp than crabs...

My LS went to do a couple of Prom ENM this week. My party was successful on the Holla ENM. The 3k experience from that one finally got my monk to level 31 (along with the extra exp from killing the other mobs along the way to the spire). If we had been successful against the Mea ENM, my tnl would've been around 900 or so. And you loose no exp from failing either.

So 3000 experience for about an hour's worth of work per Prom, depending on how fast you get to the spire, is not too bad.

Just make sure that everyone in your party is alive when you go to click the thing at the end to get your reward. I know of someone that did it, and a party member hadn't been raised yet, and they lost out on the xp reward.

Yes indeed, it is 3,000 XP per ENM fight, and you can do all three Promy ENM's in a row for a total of 9,000 per full run.

Each participant needs a key item to enter the battlefield, you can get the proper item from NPC Venessa in RuLude Gardens right by the entrance. You can only undertake one at a time as far as I know, so make sure everyone in your party selects the correct crag.

You can use Anima on the ENM bosses, though they aren't extremely tough so you might not even need to.

My melee damage wasn't the best it could've been, but I was hitting the Dem boss for much more more than the IT Gorger's on the fourth floor.

Also, once you exit the battlefield after you've claimed your reward, you can opt to zone back into the Spire so you can do the CoP Mission boss immediately after.
