Gear req's for soloing lvl70 heroics?Follow

I typically do this in bear spec with my cat gear on. That said I'm all t8/t9 level geared for both specs. I have no problem with any of it including Anzu who I do daily and now at 84 tries still have not gotten the mount....

key thing to remember is that you only have to kill 1 boss for the achievement and that's the final boss.

You can stealth all the way to the end, clear any trash right next to the boss and then nuke the boss for the win.

As boomkin you might have to hot the hell out of yourself and pop all your cooldowns to do this, I dunno. Have never tried it boomie.

Also, with some decent Feral gear, your health should be double that of a Moonkin and while your armor rating is pretty much like in Bear form, you lack the survivability of Improved Leader of the Pack which should heal you for 4% of your maximum health every 6 seconds (with a decent crit rating).

The moment you shift out of Moonkin form to heal, you'll get beat to a bloody pulp by whatever's hitting you.

Also, what head enchants are available. Is the best one the Knights of Ebon Blade one, or is there something better?

Yesterday I decided to try and solo my Kara key. I got the Steamvault key without any problem thanks to stealth. Then I started on the quest chain for the Arcatraz key. I soloed my way through Botanica and Mechanar without stealthing because I wanted the faction. Last night I went back to try to solo Arcatraz and made it all the way to the final room but could not get past the Meteor ability of the fiery infernals.

I know my gear is not the best (especially for bear form) since it's built with general world pve in mind (quest and daily grinding). Am I missing the obvious or do you really need more than 20k health and 21k armor to get past those guys? The first meteor hit me for over 15k and the second one wiped me out.

I used a potion and my herbalism heal (love that you can use that without shifting out of bear form) after the first big meteor, but it was not nearly enough healing to get me in a position to survive the second meteor. Ouch!

Did you use Feral Instincts + Frenzied Regen, Barkskin?

!@#$%, totally forgot to barkskin myself! I hadn't needed it the whole way through any of the dungeons to that point, but yeah I should have used it in that fight.

There's another guildie that wants to run the instance with me, so I think we'll just go duo it next time we're both on. Then one of these days I'll go back and solo it. Thanks!

Key for Herioc Sethekk Halls + Epic flying skill + completing the "swift flight form" quest line = Anzu farming :)

You do the epic flight quest chain, get given an item that summons Anzu. Defeat him/her/it hand the final quest in and then go back to that quest giver in Zangarmarsh the next day (or anytime after the instance has reset) and you are given the key that will stay permanently on your keyring forever and a day.

edit: can't look at your armoury due to an error (stupid work comp) when trying to load it up.

I've got 35,600 health unbuffed in Bear form, 28k armor, 23 expertise (not rating) and 36% dodge chance. And some 4,400 attack power, I think.
