I hope one attribute of Shaman isnt arrogance because thats pretty much all I've seen from a few here of late.
I hope being an ingrate isn't an attribute of Australians, because that's what I'm seeing from you right now. Everyone here has been quite generous during this session of 20 Questions: Shaman Edition. I'm the first and one of only two total people who's said anything to the contrary.
The reason I said something is that it's painfully obvious that you've not bothered to learn anything about the game if you can't even differentiate between weapon types after having reached 80 twice, and that's not something to be proud of. I'll bet dollars to pesos that you had your other two characters tailored for you by other people in the same fashion. You've probably been told how to play the character, every single time a new piece of gear drops you probably have to ask your party if it's better for you or not, and every time there's a talent adjustment in a patch you either don't know enough to adjust your spec or you have to ask someone else to give you another one. If there's someone around who truly knows their stuff you can get away with that, but quite often there's not. Just look at some of the questions we get on this board.
I'm not telling you this because I want you to feel stupid, I'm saying it because there are two types of people: there are people who truly know their classes and there are people who simply play them. And one of these two types tend to turn out to be much, much better players in the long run.
Bottom line: if you have questions, ask them. But if you don't at least make an effort on your own to learn the game and class, eventually our good humor is going to run out and, as I said, you're going to end up raiding at 80 without a single clue how your class actually works and probably turn into one of the already far too many horrible DPS Shaman putting out all of 850 DPS in heroics or Naxx.
