i currently have a leve 38 Beast-Master hunter and i'm not sure if i'm doing good with gear or anything else for my level. I was wandering everyone's opinions on my character, and some tips and tricks for me to use in pvp and to increase my leveling speed. so, tell me what you guys think, good or bad anything helps.

Gear seems to be fine, I don't really remember what I was using at that level but you seem to be prioritizing agility which is the important thing.
For leveling, I would pull the points out of IAotH and Aspect Mastery and go for Spirit Bond and Improved Mend Pet. IAotH is NOT a leveling talent, and while Aspect Mastery is nice I'd say the other talents are more useful for leveling. You're going to be the only one healing your pet right now, and doing that well is more important than a little extra AP.
You didn't mention what pet you were using, which is a huge part of how hard or easy leveling is. If you want to go with the AoE style, pick up a gorilla, there should be a couple different ones you can use at your level, or a bear for decent multi-target if you can't stand the butt-scratching. A Ferocity pet might be a decent choice if you prefer going after just one or two targets at a time, provided you pick up Bloodthirsty as soon as possible, but Tenacity pets generally hold better threat, so if you're willing to put away your cat or wolf then go for it.

OK if you are going to be doing a lot of PVP at lvl 39 there are several things you could do.

basic pvp strat at your lvl is basically send pet then just spam what you got about the same time pet gets there (if you let your pet first they won't auto target you *extra 1 second*) use frost traps to slow your opponents and run back and blast again. sweet, thanks for the tips, i got a few new pieces of armor giving me a lot more agi and i got a new rifle that gives me 14 atk power as well. did a pvp match right afterwards and did the 4th most amount of dmg in all. i think ill be able to level up a lot faster now that ill be able to kill my opponents faster. thanks for the help. if you or anyone else knows of anything else that's helpful please let me know.
I am a beastmaster hunter as well, you are equipped fairly similarly (probably better to be honest...) to how I was at your level and specced fairly similarly as well, the major difference being your points in Aspect of the Hawk.
I have never been certain when outfitting myself which was more important, agility or attack power. Using a tenacity pet (I use turtle) is probably your best bet. You will find it near impossible to pull aggro off of anything (my pet held aggro even when my first attack crit for 639) unless the opponent is around 5 levels higher at which point your pets blows will be glancing.
If you choose a tenacity pet with improved mend pet etc then your pet will very rarely die and same goes for you. My pet only ever dies when I consciously sacrifice it for me to run away, and even then it usually lasts long enough for me to get to the desummoning range.
Gorilla is brilliant for the Thunderstomp, but I just couldnt put up with the constant crack scratching (asthetics are very important to me).

Triprunner's are hard to beat for their awesome agility bonus. I have been told my talents are good for levelling, although for solo levelling Ferocious Inspiration is a bit of a waste of points.

I've tried a gorilla and a cat. What amazed me was the fact that the Thunderstomp Gorilla needed more active healing than the Nightsaber I started with.
This isn't the first time I've seen it said that Ferocity pets can't take many targets at a time. I'd have to disagree. Yes, Tenacity holds aggro more reliably. However, my cat has amazed me in ways the gorilla can only dream about. Just today my level 64 Nightsaber took down 4 Bull Clefthoofs. I've seen it (accidently!) take down 3 Wastewater Shadow Mages, and their minions, with only occasional healing on my part (so as not to draw the aggro). But then... isn't that what Feign Death is for? :D
Bottom line: With my cat, I don't have to do much healing so I didn't use those points on Mend Pet. I've also found that IAotH is proccing several times during a fight - which makes the bonus from Aspect Mastery all the more damaging.
@Skosa - Well, it's your $15 a month, though I think you're making a mistake with speccing that way. Just remember, the reason at least one point in Imp Mend Pet is -always- recommended is so that you can remove debuffs from your pet, not just because it makes healing cheaper.
