I'm coming back to the game after a long break, A friend has asked me to join his horde guild it will be my 1st horde character I take all the way(70 mage/70 hunter both ally). Is troll a good choice I see so few of them?
Is there a reason why orc/undead and tauran are so much more popular?

Troll's a good choice if you like trolls and that's what you want to look at for 70 80 levels.
I suspect the popularity of Orc/Undead/Tauren has a lot to do with the racials. War stomp/health bonus (Tauren), the stun resist (Orc), and Fear/charm/sleep resist (undead) are all probably viewed a little better than the troll racials.
That said, while they're all probably situationally quite nice, play what you like to play.

Troll warrior here and I like it. Never had any issues with it.

Blood Fury + 15% stun resist kk thx it can be like 500 ap boost im only 49 and its 199 ap boost so ya

And yes, both BE sexes look a bit androginous.
If you are still thinking "omfg you're stupid for making a BE they look horrible" maybe you should go create a NE and have her pole-dance naked so you can do something smart like twiddling your privates.

I love my troll warrior, my only problem with him is that he doesn't stand up straight, and he looks ridiculous is certain pieces of armor. Other then that, he's awesome. Berserking is situational, mostly for PvP, to get get some more damage off before your die or, hell, maybe that little damage boost will save you. With a healer, its dynamite, hit berserking when your about to die, get healed, and bam, your with a 30% attack speed increase at full health. If used in Berserker stance, you can throw out some damn nice DPS for the short duration you have it.
Horde racial skills? Warriors? Depends on what you want to focus on.
DPS = Orc. Fury Warrior DW Axes and nothing but axes. Period.
PvP = Undead. PERIOD. (Stun resists are nice, aoe stuns are nice, aoe silence are nice too, but for PvP there's 2 kinds of races: Those that have WotF and those that don't.)
Tank = Tauren, Orc (and nothing but axes!) or Undead.

I have a troll warrior and he's my favorite character. Trolls may not have the best racial abilities for warriors, but they look cool, they sound cool, and they dance cool. These aesthetic considerations outweigh the practical ones for me.
