In expansion which PvP spec that i am considering do you think will be better?

Basicly what i want from enh is a nice balance in deffence, Offence, and buffing capabilities while still getting Stormstrike while probably not going any deeper in the tree then that and either grabbing 21+ points in resto grabing main survival talents (Healing Focus and Nature's Swiftness) aswell as some talents to make my mana more valuable (Tidal and Totemic Focus and Nature's Guidance). These talents will help enhance what i am trying to gain from my enh tree and make me a very well rounded shaman I assume.

I am also looking at a suicide build, which i think is more viabkle now, grabbing 21+ points in element tree. This would Make my Shocks better all around increasing Dmg, reducing mana cost, and lower kool down. I would also be able to take advantage of Elemental Devistation and Elemental Fury, Maximizing my overall burst dmg. The only problem i see is versitility will be lacking i will still have Eye of The Storm to help me out but i just do not know if that will be enough.

Either way both specs sound ver fun to me as they offer some of the most powerful talents we have, that we where never able to match together before. I still am not sure if these are the specs i go but i am considering them very much, and i think both can be very solid, well atleast in pvp ^^

Ok I actualy worked on the specs I have been thinking of, here they are aswell as my expenasion of how I am think they would work, these specs are ment for pve and pvp, but dont really keep to much raiding in mind more of a grind to 70 thing. I am going to grind to 70 witha a warlock and a druid, and possibly a mage if he is 60 by expansion, which is basicly a group minus a tank, I think this will make things smoother for us =P

Anyhow here they are, any feedback on ppl that tried similar specs would be very appreciated for anyone that was in the Beta servers...

This is the basic Enh spec, it is heavy into the tree and the concept is for versitility in pvp/pve setting. If I go this spec I plan on trying to grab a set heavy on Stam and Str with some Int to support it. I plan to have macros set up to help me switch from DW to 1h and shield in grind sessions for when I need to pull hate off my clothie buddies, probably set the macro to change my weapons/weapon and shield while also dropping on the appropriate weapon buff. In pvp I plan on switching from 2h to 1h+shield when needed depending on weather i am fighting ranged dps or melee type (since from what I have seen 2h suck against warriors and you want the deffense against a rogue sometimes). I also get to keep mana reducing talents from resto tree and healing focus to give myself some survivabilty for when I am under fire.

This is the PvP suicide spec I was considering if my buddy druid doesnt mind covering the healing, it is ment to maximize burst dmg in a pvp setting and wont be as practical in a pve setting as the last I think, altho I will be able to protect clothies in my groups well since I can rip hate easy, my RLF will like this I think lol. This spec has promise but will probably need alot of tweaking and I think gearing this spec will be tough since I will want good int and stam and not make str suffer too bad. I probably will not go this spec but it should have some powerful burst ability.

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/bc-shaman/talents.html?0000000000000000000005050001550013050010005035350000013500000

This spec I think has nice promise like the first enh spec I will be able to switch from 2h to 1h+shield with good ease and will offer ok burst in the form of melee atleast. This spec should allow me to be quite survivable as it is deeper into the resto tree and I get SS and NS which are both powerful talents, altho I am a point shy of Mana tide which can make one want to cry but i think this could work well against melee types and in a grinding session.

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/bc-shaman/talents.html?5500010000000000000005052301050013000000005005051005013000000

Ok this spec is not one I consider to be good, it just looks fun to me I dont know why, I think it is because I know a Tri Spec was big in the past before they changed our tree, i think it included NS, Healing Focus, Improved Shocks, 2H, Improved weapon buffs, and Improved LS. I never got to try the try spec i joined alittle before they changed our tree and always thought the concept looked fun. It seems like a nice fun once I get 70 geared myself in some decent gear and retired my shaman and just bust it out when i am bored lol...

This is the only spec that I feel has promise in all situations that I can imagine in the expansion. It puts me as the role as a healer aswell as save my clothie friends. It would not pack a punch in dps or burst like the others but gives me many nice survival talents, aswell as powerful healing talents. Atleast while my dmg will be lacking i will be able to keep my friends up pretty well I think like this and make sure they are putting out some good DPS without dieing.

I have been hereing alot of negative things about the expansion, but I am excited to see how it plays out anyhow, and if it is really a problem I do not mind getting 70 going full resto and becoming a raider while lvling a new alt to help me do the other aspects of this game I enjoy, besides I am kind of getting use to healing at 60 anyhow lol.

If I can get some suggestions I will appreciate it alot, and if anyone else wants to post their spec ideas I would love to see them, I know I didnt have a true Element spec up here, but I have never been element and have always enjoyed the melee/resto aspect of shaman so far, but I think going 41/0/20 for a guild to buff casters and just heal may also be interesting.

Anyhow I can't wait to see the expansion. New stuff is good stuff ^^

Interesting interesting, it seems more like a i will nuke your **** hard 4-5 times before you hit me then smack you in the face with my 2h pop element mastery and crit a ES lol. I am just surprised you passed up on elemental devistation since you can force a spell to crit, but it still seems to make sence for a pvp and i am sure it could work.

made me kind of excited about getting lvl 80 caps lol, Element mastery and CL followed by a SS and then ES while forcing the +crits to come into affect lol, they better give us some pimp talents next time they lift the cap or we will all be running around taking advantage of our original 31s lol.

my idea for expansion is
looks like nice suicide spec for pvp. You will die but you will take many with you.

I find that taking one for the team always helps. Depending on which you like better, I suggest just going #/#/21 for nature's swiftness. This spell has saved me or group/raid members so many times. It gives you a free healing potion every three minutes or an instant chain lightning (crit if you're elemental). I personally am going to be resto with a hint of enhancement.

this spec seems like a good idea since it makes my Lightning shield cheaper by 6%, Shocks cheaper by 16%, totems cheaper by 31%, and I also get 10% cheaper lightning and 5% cheaper heals. I keep elemental Focus to be able to heal under fire but i am considering going for Concussion instead. I just do not know if I can sacrafice Weapon Mastery and be comfortable.

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/shaman/talents.html?0000000000000000000050050321050213353115105005000000000000000

I will probably go for this I assume, gives me everything i think is actualy really nice from enh, and alows me 10 points in resto for cheaper totems and heals, and atm it is a toss up again between 5 more points in resto for healing focus, or 5 points in ele for 5% dmg or 10% cheaper nukes.

All i know for sure is I need to farm alot and try alot of specs lol.
