What Did You Name Your Pet?Follow

My lion's name is Lightning
My Wolf's name is Ziggy

I used to have a Nightsaber Matriarch named Shadowmaw but after hearing about the Ghost Saber spawn up in Darkshore I promptly released it. Now I have a the Ghost Saber named Geist and a Windserpent named Stormfang. Soon I'll be getting and Ama'gar boar but I haven't decided what it's name is going to be.

Had a couple of pets, Currently have a 60 frost saber from wintersprings named Iceblue. Have Ucha and used to have another gorilla named Magilla from the cartoons. Recently picked up BT but for now I have him just sitting in the stables.While I was lvl 27-32 used the have a wolf called Scratch (Ghostpaw Alpha). If you look at him everytime you stop to check something he sat down and scratched.
Had Kin B and named him Syberian ( Siberia, Russia).

I posted previously but I've tamed a few new beasts since.

Pharin tamed a Frostsaber Stalker in Winterspring because a) wanted to learn it's abilities and b) needed a level 60 pet to replace LargeTalons the owl. I named it Macavity.

I have a new orc hunter on my Horde server. My first pet was a raptor from north Durotar. Gave it the name "Reptar". At 20, I travelled to Darkshore and tamed the Strider Clutchmother and named her Clutchmutha.

This is all new to me...coming from Text based MUDS but its awesome!

I've got a night elf hunter on Duskwood name of Natani and she has a pet bear named Cohcayn and a cat name Marywahna.

Does it always take so many tries at taming something before it takes? I thought it said that only as long as it didn't lose its concentration on you that it would take with no problem...

I don't suppose it matters too much...I have finally tamed 2 pets now :)

Named my kitty Siame.

Siame = Blood in Troll

Well at 10 I took my troll straight to UC and got a Worg, named him Sikem. Soon after I tamed the white lion and called him Strife, then was lucky enough to stumble upon Humar the Pridelord one day, had never heard of him before and was lvl 23 at the time...perfect, had the worg out at the time so abandoned him and nabbed the black cat, named him Sever.

Plan on dropping the white cat and getting a black armoured boar from rfk next. Will call him Gravel.

I am playing a hunter level 52 now on Alliance side and have a LOOOOt of fun with her, she's night elf, I saw this "What Did You Name Your Pet?" and I would like to say (no offense) that usually, names are not funny, and we play, isn't it?
So I decided to name my cat broken tooth, Nightfart.
A lot will say ... and??... well a lot of players and hunters on my server knows me, and beside they had fun at first sight, it gives me the opportunity to play with people I would never met with a "usual" name, so dont be shy and even if my pet's name doesnt reach your standards XD, at least be original.
Imagine in BG; " u get killed by Nightfart"
I certainly dont have the exclusivity of this idea so please don't attack me if allready seen in another place XD

I haved the named bear from Ashenvale and named himGrumpy

Recently got Dal'Sin(?) from STV and named him GoodieYumYum(anyone spot the reference?)

And lastly I have a boar named BlueBoy(no offense intended to any policemen reading this)

I'm a NE hunter on Lightbringer and have (had) a couple of pets..

Names of the ones i still have are:

BT for BrokenTooth (in honor of that magnificent cat and the fact that it took me 3 days to get it)
Zipper for a sabertooth (named after our famous breeding stud (cat) Kaitang Zeus, nicknamed zipper, my wife and i breed cats)

Had a ashenvale bear named Brother, and a couple of birds from the owl family named Athena and Socrates. These ones were merely caught for the skills and are released after a short period. I'm kinda bound to my pets, so i'm going to level them all to 60 (BT is there already, next up is Zipper, currently lvl 45)

Funniest name i ever saw on a pet on my server was Steve Irwin for a wetlands krokolisk... Made me laugh so hard !!

I currently have 2 pets, though one of them hasn't seen the light of day for a couple of months and probably won't ever again. The first (the one I don't use) is a farstrider named Snuggles (a completely useless and stupid-looking bird). The second (and by far my favorite) is a snow wolf named Binky. I got him at level 10 and haven't really found a good reason to trade him in. As for the names...what can I say, I like stupid names. Plus, as stated in another post in another forum, I still get a chuckle when an ogre screams "Me smash Binky!". A cheap laugh is still a laugh.
