I recently tamed a couple of warpstalkers, one with my NE hunter and one with my dwarf hunter.
Green Warpstalker: Gleep
I named him after the little green dragon from Robert Asprin’s Myth series.
White Warpstalker: Ruth
He’s named after the white dragon in Anne McCaffrey's Dragonrider books.

My most recent pet-A scorpid named Syphilis. >.<
Funny story behind this name...
I first started playing WoW to hang with my brother overseas. My sister in law taught me a lot about it and I hopped on a account of hers and her server. She was wiccan (don't ask if ya don't know) and gave herself the druidic name Rayne. 6 months later and about a half a million fights... my brother divorced her and her and I... are not on speaking terms.
To top it off she locked me out of the account and I lost my characters. None were higher than 50, but to a first timer, that sucked. I started with a huntere and at level 10 I headed to Khaz Modan with a name in mind. I picked up the first wolf I saw and named it Rayne.
Now she's my bit-h forever.

My 65 Orc hunter has 3 pets, the worg/wolf is named Fenrir, from Final Fanatasy fame. Then he has King Bangalash, which I let a friend name, he's called Spaceman. Then I have a Warp Hunter, not a stalker, but atm I forget his name, as I haven't played since the 10th of this month.

I have a Lvl 69 Raptor named Fluffy. Very friendly. Unless you're Horde.
Also have a Lvl 62 stealth cat named Nat, and a Lvl 65 Ravager named Muffin. All my pets are real cuddly. Any Tauren welcome to come hug them.

My brother named his boar HarryPlopper. Hehe I wish I thought of that.
my pet is The Rake and I called him Bern - I don't really know why ^.^" I think I was thinking of the bear-guy in the Hobbit, who is not even called Bern... but there you go.
My husband's The Rake is called Aslan lol, from Narnia. Some random person whispered him asking if he was Turkish because apparently Aslan is a Turkish name. So there you go again :P
