First and foremost, I'd like to say that I haven't bought WoW yet, but am getting it very soon. That being said, Yes... I'm a newbie. I've played MANY MMORPG's though, and like to plan my character out before I make him and completly gimp him. I was just curious on how good of a build the following selection would be for a Human Warrior.

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/warriors/talents.html?0532002035151000312531310000500000000000000000000000

For those that are too lazy to click a link and would rather read the skills on the forums, here ~.^

---ARMS---

Deflection - 5/5
Improved Rend - 3/3
Improved Charge - 2/2
Deep Wounds - 3/3
OverPower - 2/2
2 Hand Wep Spec - 5/5
Axe Spec - 5/5
Imp Hamstring - 3/3
Sweeping Strike - 1/1
Impale - 1/2
Mortal Strike - 1/1

---FURY---
Booming Voice - 2/5
Cruelty - 5/5
Imp Demoralizating Shout - 3/5
Unbridled Wrath - 1/5
Piercing Howl - 1/1
Imp Cleave - 3/3
Enrage - 5/5

Sorry if something similar to this has been posted, Which I'm sure it has, and I'm sorry if it irritates you that I posted something similar to something which has been previously posted. Just looking for some opinions on my selection.

Oh, it might help if I state what kind of Warrior I want, huh? I want to be more of a PvP/Damage warrior... Of course I'll always carry an extra shield/1h on me, but I'm sticking with 2h - Axe. I also chose to take up Blacksmithing: Armor, and Mining. I chose Human, because they have the ability to see cloaked people for a period of time, which I thought would be awesome for takin rogues down.

Thanks in advance

Well, since I couldn't find an "Edit post" button, I guess I'll just reply to myself >.<

I changed my build a bit, and came up with 2 forms, the second in my eyes is almost flawless, But, as I said, I'm a newbie. Which one of these would be better...

---ARMS---

Deep Wounds - 3/3
Improved Overpower - 2/2
Two hand wep spec - 5/5
Impale - 1/2
Axe Spec - 5/5
Sweeping Strikes - 1/1
Imp Hamstring - 3/3
Mortal Strike - 1/1

---FURY---

Booming Voice - 2/5
Cruelty - 5/5
Imp Demoralizing Shout - 3/5
Unbridled Wrath - 1/5
Piercing Howl - 1/1
Imp Cleave - 3/3
Enrage - 5/5

And the second, which is what I will be going for so far:

---ARMS---

Deflection - 5/5 point
Improved Rend - 3/3 points
Improved Charge - 1/2 point
Tactical Mastery - 2/5 points
Deep Wounds - 3/3 points
Improved Overpower - 2/2 points

Axe Specialization - 5/5 points
Sweeping Strikes - 1/1 point

---FURY---

Improved Intercept - 2/2 points

As I said before, the second seems to look great from my eyes, Just looking for opinions.

Stay far away from your second build. Pick either the Arms or Fury trees and spec to the 31 point talent. Mortal Strike is an awesome attack that is fantastic even when your gear isn't the best. Bloodthirst only starts to hit hard once your attack power is pretty high. I have about 1320 AP w/ BS up and Bloodthirst still doesn't hit too hard yet. If you're just starting out and don't have too many epics you should stick to an Arm's Mortal strike build. Unbridled wrath is a talent for dual wielding and not for a slow 2hander. Improved Battleshout is a great talent all around so look into bumpin' a few more points into it.

EDIT - You can look at my profile for a fairly standard Arms build.

also, you may want to rethink taking up blacksmithing right off the bat. the idea is to create your own armor (to save $$$, right?) but... you have to make so much junk along the way to get to a recipe that's worth your while that you would be better off selling all the mats and buying armor off the auction house. the really good recipes to come into play until the late 50's. head over to the professions forum at the official site and read generikb's guide to making money:

http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-professions&t=202242&p=1&tmp=1#post202242

skinning/mining or skinning/herbalism are generally the best choices for your first character on each realm.

if you really, really want to try out blacksmithing here's what you could do:

1) get your warrrior up to level 5 and pick up skinning and mining. park him in an inn (for rested xp)
2) start an ah mule; see the above link for the reasoning. get him up to level 5 and pick up leatherworking and blacksmithing. this will go very quickly if you pick the same race/class as your main. they will have the same quests/abilities/builds so you won't waste any time asking all those questions again. by the time my warr was 45, i had two more warr alts, both level 20, solely for complementary professions.
3) now focus on leveling your main. when your bags fill up, send all your skins, bars, and stones to your mule. make leather from the scraps, and armor kits from the leather, and use them on your main. make sharpening stones and use them on your main. anything left over, sell it on the ah and use the $$$ to buy "of the bear" or "of stamina" gear, throw an armor kit on it, and mail it back to your main.
4) whenever you get that, "damn i have too much gold for my own good," feeling, stop selling the ores and bars, and start leveling up your blacksmithing.
