mounting as a hunterFollow

at which level can you mount as a hunter? is it earlier than level 40? and how do you learn to mount?

No, you mount at level 40 just as another class would do.

Now as far has learning to mount it depends on your race. I being a dwarf would go to Amberstill Ranch, there will be a ram riding trainer and another that sells th rams.

It will cost you 90g alltogther ~ 18g for mount training and 72g for the mount itself. Once you reach 60 and u have 900g on you, you can go and buy yourself an epic mount :P

Also you can get other mounts such as the horse for the humans and the tiger for the elfs once exalted with their main city, Humans: Stormwind city ~ Elfs: Darnasuss (Yes im telling from a alliance players point of view, sorry if your horde ><)

thanks, yes i'm horde but i think i can mount a kodo at level 40. it was not a relief to hear that i had to wait 10 more levels and 90 gold is a f...ing high price!

On this subject, any elfy-hunters out there have a neat trick they can use to mount in combat, or in the middle of a group of mobs. Feign death + shadowmeld + mount up. Works a treat when you get dazed.
