If I were 60 on my rogue I would no doubt sooner or later attempt on sneaking in to the opposing faction's main city. Not really with an intent upon anything other than just making it inside. Well...perhaps I'd like to kill an auctioneer if I could make it that far (doubtful).

And other than that, the normal lvl 60 stuff: BG, instances, raids, yada yada

i can tell you what i've been doing, and what is the most fun

the standard high level instances are great the first few times you run them, but they will become monotonous. Eventually this will also happen to Ony and MC, unless your guild is still figuring the intricacies of both out, and even so it is a long process.

WSG is a great way to break up the monotony of instances and farming for your epic mount and whatever else you plan on buying.

Other things that are good times: stealth runs. You can do some of several instances and all of others with another rogue or two, and 1 or 2 druids. Totally unique experience to these classes, and its great fun.

Last week I was bored, and a guildie challenged me to do the instance in Org (i'm alliance). The best part of it was actually getting to the instance, I had a blast sneaking around everyone and avoiding the scout NPCs. The instance blew ... i could walk past the mobs without stealth, and i 1 hitted some of the bosses ... but afterwards, i spent a few hours killing guards all over the town, and picking off a few random flagged players. A friend from a different server even started a horde character, hiked to orgrimmar, and not only translated what they were yelling about me, but we also had fun getting people to dance with him ... right before i one hitted him. Took a while for people to figure out what was going on.

Another thing I enjoy doing is running guild lowbies and alts through the lower instances. Makes you feel almost god like =P.

The point being: because of stealth and vanish, rogues can do things that other classes cannot, and you can find some really fun things to do if you find yourself getting bored at 60.

Next on my list: killing the gryph masters in different horde towns. If I can't solo them (I hear they spawn angry birds ... ) i'll get a druid and a rogue to come with me. Probably try to kill every horde gryph master.

Funny you'd say that, last night there was the corpse of a tauren splattered accross the stairs to the IF auction house, bathing in his blood.

Well, since Tauren is the only race that cant play as Rogue it's no wonder he didnt make it--if that is what he was aiming to do. However, I did once see 3 or 4 rogues manage to sneak in to Org and kill all the auctioneers at the same time. I thought that was pretty cool, and ever since seeing that I've been wanting to attempt it myself.

Could have been a druid, though. Who knows, he was dead.

Raggedrage,

Just want to confirm that the gryph masters or bat masters spawn things. Took out the orc bat master at tauren mill. It spawned three bats.

Just to let you kow.

Also look forward to getting my Rogue to gank soem hordes in there city. sounds like a lot of fun.

I have been playing since launch and have waaaay too many alts, some played semi-regularly, some deleted, and finally, a "main," which is my... hm... third rogue? Maybe 4th. Every other rogue I played I couldn't stand and never got them past 20. Now I have my troll, and I'm pretty sure I'll be able to stick with him past the "got my mount now what" stage.

So what after 60? EVERYTHING! There is so much to the game I haven't experienced and haven't seen:

Aside from doing each big raid instance at least once, I'll also be able to do some of the little ones I've missed or bypassed.

I'll be able to fill out my map entirely (which was my goal for my very first character, a warrior on a pvp server that I never got past lvl 47.)

I'll be able to actually and effectively help the defenders on my server during assaults on our towns, instead of landing, flagging and dying.

I'll be able to get the cool-looking eq instead of the ***-ugly pants I'm currently wearing.

And, finally, curse and swear at the gods because I know I'll probably finally manage to hit 60 only a week before the first expansion comes out and I'll have to start a new grind all over again.

Dont worry, you'll have the option to convert your char to the new standard when the expansion pops-up :)

Well, as a Rogue, on many servers you have several options. Also, due to the overpopulation of Rogues; some of these are very difficult to do. I have only been able to get on about 5 UBRS runs so far. I have only 2 Shadowcraft pieces and only one Skin of Shadow towards my Bloodfang (?) armor. So while you may end up soloing a bit, you have time now to work on either pick-up or guild groups to go and get the rest of your gear. You may be one of the few who got into a big guild at the beginning, but since you say you aren't 60 yet, or are going to be there soon, I'm guessing you aren't since most will only recruit level 60's and many require you to have full SC and a Heartseeker if you're dagger rogue or other higher-end weapons as a minimum to join. So here are my top 10 in no particular order.

1. Do all of those quests you always wanted to do, but didn't get around to.

2. Join a good guild or build your current guild in order to get to MC/Onyxia, etc. If you haven't already done it.

3. Get all of your SC gear, then move on to the other higher level gear.

4. HELP your friends get their stuff/gear/levels.

5. Work faction and save money for your epic mount (this'll take you a while, unless you only play WoW 24/7 and don't have a job).

6. Explore

7. Go on raids of the Horde/Alliance, BG, Alterac (if your server actually ever has any of the Alterac events).

8. Make an alt and level that one and see what the other classes are like, make an alt on the opposite faction and level, check out all of those quests.

9. Tradeskills. Give up what you already have and try out the others.

10. Farm. I don't mean in the traditional "xxx farmer" sense, but farm for herbs if you're an alchemist, for metals and/or gems if you're a miner, etc. I'm an alchemist, I can always use more herbs. If I don't farm them directly, I kill for money to buy them, depending on the level of the item and cost of it. I search for Gromsblood, Mountain Silversage, but typically buy goldthorn and sungrass, since it's fairly cheap and readily available.

There are my top 10, perhaps not in the order you'll want to do them, but in the order I thought of them. There are more and sundry depending on whether you're RP or PvP server. I just have to say that imo there's a lot more to do at 60 than there ever was at the top levels of EQ. Not that EQ didn't have content, just that the ONLY way to do ANY of it was generally to have a 72 man raid (yeah right, get 72 level 65's together in under 2-3 hours). Anyway, most of what I listed here you need under 15 man raids, many you can do solo or with a group of 5. ONLY the MC/Onyxia type raids require the 40 man raid groups. That's just 8 full groups, not very hard to do really, once you get a guild with 60-100 people, which-again doesn't seem to be that hard, as long as you aren't a ninja looter and have a somewhat good reputation on your server. If you're the type who's on more ignore lists than friends list, I'd suggest number 8 above, and this time, be nicer to others along your way to 60.

The birds that spawn when you kill the flight master are 55 elites afaik. They're like bosses from what I've seen.

They move insanely fast (can't outrun them) and they hit pretty hard. Saw a level 60 Mage get capped by a flock of those birdies at Soutshore. They took away 25% of his health with each hit.
