although there is no answer to your question, it sounds like youre most suited to paladins. god i hate paladins...

Changed my mind, I'm going to write a story instead.
Since this is an old subject, I won't start a rant against OP.
We've all been thinking about the uber class in the game.
OP, you prolly already have your class figured out now, but allow me to point out the various classes in short.
Priest is like the Paladin, sacrificing armor for better healing spells. Fragile if played as a healer, but as a Shadow Priest you gain various offensive abilities and enhancements.
Mage is like the Rogue, sacrificing armor for more damage and spells. Fragile because of the armor restriction, but usually kills the mobs before they even get close.
Warlock is like the Hunter, sacrificing armor for powerful spells. Fragile because of missing armor, but powerful spells and nice demon pets makes up for it.
The Warrior, Shaman and Druid are special classes.
The Warrior does nothing but deal dmg while taking the hits for the others in the group. Warriors have many abilities to keep the enemies on him and not the Priest or Mage for instance.
The Shaman is like a Paladin with less armor and more spells. They use stationary totems to cast various beneficial buffs on party members and to deal damage to enemies.
The Druid is a true hybrid. You gain the ability to shift form and each form has its specialization. In Druid form you can heal and cast dmg spells. In Bear form you are a tanker like the Warrior with Warrior like abilities and even a rage bar. In Cat form you gain Rogue abilities with an energy bar instead of a mana bar.
Though the Druid might sound like the uber class then because of all these classes mixed in one, it isn't. I've played the Druid to lvl 31 as you can see in my signature and I'm no better than my lvl 31 Rogue friend. Druid sacrificed power for versatility. We move quickly under water and on the ground, but our role is primary healing hybrid. In other words, a Priest with melee abilities.
Hope that cleared some things out.

I am amazed. I thought the OP would never peply again.
I doubt this really needs replys to. Please everyone, start PMing your friends to come rate down this post. We only need to get to 1.5. We are so close, but it looks as though we just don't have enough priests.
