gardening ores help!Follow

Feed on Firesday, Harvest on Watersday, this is what i hear works :)

You might not get the coincidence that feeding crystals would be on full moon, so just feed them crystals whenever firesday rolls around. you should be good to go...just check them everyday, good luck!

My last try oin ores was a fiasco, so now I'm growing again guided by this:

In an arcane pot I just Harvested 2 ice ores on Firesday and on Waxing Crecant.............is that normal?

I have 4 mules, and am currently at lvl 61 Goldsmithing so I've been concentrating most of my efforts on growing Platinum Nuggets to help me skill up. Although, I did have 4 tree saplings left over so I planted those. I was using porcelain pots and growing from my mule stationed in Jeuno, his home country being San D'Oria.

My normal pattern is:

1) Plant on Darksday, Full Moon.
2) Feed Crystal on same day as ore you are trying for, whenever it is ready for feeding. (I did Wind Crystal on Windsday, trying for Wind Ore this last batch.)
3) Repeat step 2) for second feeding.
4) Harvest on the day weak to your ore, Iceday for Wind Ore, or on Lightsday... and preferrably during Full Moon if you can. Also, most of the time I usually on leave 1 free slot open in my Mog Safe inventory, so that I know whether I am going to be receiving 1 chunk, or if it is multiple items (2 clusters, 41 wind. tea leaves, etc...) I will know. If it is 1 chunk, it can fit in that space, if it is multiple items, it will say something to the effect of "your moogle cannot harvest at this time".

Out of my 4 pots growing, I received 3 chunks of Wind Ore, and 41 Windurstian Tea Leaves. I harvested on Iceday, Waning Crescent. Just did it this morning so this topic was fresh on my mind. I harvested the 3 chunks of wind ore first, and then couldn't harvest the last pot because it was multiple items... I waited until lightsday to try and harvest it, but with no luck, so I just opened up my inventory slots and accepted the windy tea leaves.

I've found that to be true also. I've tried harvesting 4-5 more times after my initial harvest and have yet to recieve an ore on those additional tries. Only a few times have the actual yields of the items gone low enough to fit in one slot, I mostly just get the "cannot harvest" message.
