Windshards are over 200gil a pop in most cases. and ppl buying them make it go up even more. Reassign some stat points and put them into wind elemental and go kill some stuff for an hour. You'll net like 200-300 shards easy.

Most mobs outside of LL drop wind shards. Spend a day or two doing your levequests and grinding out of there and you will have an abundant supply of wind shards...and pirate speak. AARRGGHHH!
