operation timed out

I was able to play to day at lunch, I came home tonight after work tried to log on and got this message. Operation timed out what does that mean?

This is the only official SOE post I could find on this today. The log in server was down last night for around 1 1/2 hours also. I can't log in game, launch pad, forums or service to send a ticket :( Am getting really tired of this too.

"We are experiencing some issues with our login servers that may be preventing some customers from logging in. We appreciate your patience while we resolve the issues."

Well, I'm so happy for them lol, I do appreciate the response though. It's weird because I was able to play fine when I was here at lunch time. My time is so limited, when the weekend come I want to play. why can't this stuff happen when I work . Anyway thanks so much for responding.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one.
I thought there was something wrong with my computer.

I logged out to select another character but was suddenly unable.

I've been getting the same message since.

I tried to look for info on the starwars website but found none.
