Why would you want a Pikeman in Star Wars?
I had a Wookie Master Pike before NGE, it was goofy. It was a profession based on some background weeqey thug characters in "Return of the Jedi" who all got thrown into the mouth of a giant hole in the ground because none of them had enough common sense to purchase a laser pistol in a SciFi universe.
