This has probally been answered many times, but I have a short attention span for trolling forums :) I am a cl 81 Jedi who loves to solo. My play hours are very irregular so I need advice on good solo spots to get to 90. Same for space. Thanks in advance.

LVL 81 your off to mustafa for your XP, pick up the quests there, and just work your way thou, some you should be able to solo others you will stuggle. Other than that i beleve you now recive Xp from mission terminals but in not sure how all the works to your level.

As for space, well what level are you currently? and what faction are you, these things are kinda essential to what advice i can give you

I know this is on TC Prime. I'm not sure if it's on live servers yet. Either way, the XP is proportionally based on your toon's level. I started doing these in my mid 80s and got right around 30,000 XP per mission. You can run 10 missions that give XP within a 24 hour period. It really aint bad XP though. For me, the 10 missions get me about half way to the next level.

For the OP, If you run out of quest options and want to grind a little, the Gotals in the Shadow Lands of the Rryatt Trail are some of the few non-elite high level NPCs you will find. Plus they drop some nice statted loot—including Jedi Knight robes.

i have a level 81 commando, that i'd pretty much abandoned levelling, i dont have mustafar (refused to buy toow when it was released - long story!) i wonder though, how many other vets don't have mustafar, the terminal thing might well be the only way i have of grinding through the levels. i didnt complete kashyyk either, i did do some of it, but, kashyyk is my least favourite planet, so i tend to avoid going there, Its not a proper planet like the others, but a series of zones, it resembles the original everquest in terms of zones and invisible walls. having to travel from one zone of the planet to another through a door, just doesnt seem right. about the only enjoyment i got there was being able to set the wookies on fire (it relieved the tension!) which considering im a rebel, should that even be possible :D

I got Mustafar and was doing so-so with it until chapter 6 came out. Now It's more or less useless to me. I probably got my money's worth out of it though. My only problem with Kashyyyk is that I can't do much of anything in the Myyydril Caverns anymore.

All of this is because of certain changes that came with chapter 6. I hate sounding like a whiner, but chapter 6 really blew. They just went too far with the elites. I have a level 90 commando and a level 89 smuggler. When I go to do the Arena Challenge on Kashyyyk, the first group of mobs, which are 25 or 30 levels below me, have me down in about 5 seconds. There just seems to be something wrong with that.

Don't get me wrong. I've found other ways to have fun with the game. I just think SOE went too far with the difficulty in the game.

im not too surprised, when the nge first came out, pve was a doddle, despite the teleporting animals :D

i do think in their quest to improve the challenges, and, encourage grouping again, they did go a little OTT, people are encouraged to group through xp bonuses, as well as mob difficulty. i do think that they need to look into mob behaviour more, as well as unique resists, that is, a mob with a tough hide, might be more resistant to kinetic than another which has a thick hide thats more resistant to energy, kind of thing.

i do still want to see more entertainer content, or at least, non-combat content, city content even, all these npc cities and which ones get used the most, mos eisley cantina.
Its not just the planets themselves that are waiting for content, its the cities, all these guns around and not a single shooting range, players are competitive after all, so getting to see their name as the weekly high score at a shooting range, you could even have one in each city, and have a 'world champion' kind of thing.

I am stunned Cloudancer. Here I am thinking you were a decent type, and now, I find your just a wookie burner. I bet your char is a Trandoshan.

That's it, you're off my christmas card list!

just a relatively (normal?) human commando! i found kashyyk infuriating, the invisible walls, the doorways between sections of the planet, i use waypoints a lot, which isnt an ideal kind of way to do things on kashyyk, so setting the wookies on fire was just my way of showing them what i thought of their (if only it was more flammable!) world.

and now we get xp from terminal missions, i dont have to go there anymore, yay!
