noob question

yep, you can buy clothing/armour powerups from vendors, which act as temporary buffs and are activated by you. Or you could buy, or ask someone to make you (still costs you though) some equipment which has had stat mods added to it and are permanent while the item is worn.

Strengh: increses your melle attacks.
Precision: increses your ranged attacks.
Stamina: increses your action.
Consitution: Increses your health.
Agility: increses your defence.........I think??
Luck: well errrrrrr alegidly.............it either does somethign for crafters or it dont lol

Strength also increases your chance at hitting opponents with a Critical.

Precision same as Strength.

Stamina and Constitution nothing special rather then raising Action/Health.

Agility adding more raises your Glancing Blow chances as well.

Luck. Well, this is a hard one. Raising this significantly gives more bonuses to all other stats minus STA/CON. Unconfirmed and speculated is loot drop rates (the rate not the loot themselves), Selling loot/items to Dealers, Reverse Engineering Chances, Crafting Assembly, Crafting Experimentation rolls, and alot of other things I can't remember.
