Anyone know where this lv34 weapon drops?
Its not listed in the item database here, it is on Hodstock.com but there is no source for the item listed. Long ago me and friend were playing a couple of toons and we wanted one of these after seeing it on closed auctions. I told my friend my guess was that it dropped on Deep Scarabs at the bottom of the gnoll cave. Just because of the name. Well after a couple of days worth of farming I gave up on it and moved on. He however continued farming those for weeks on his shaman, trying to get for his rogue.
Well we never saw it and now we both have toons around that level again. So we got to talking about it and I said I would ask here.
Deep Scarab Blade:
Lv 34
Dmg 410
ATT 1HS
Dex 5
10 DoT proc

Aren't there scarab/beetle type mobs in the mila's reef area? along the beaches/coast

Personally I think your first guess for location was probably correct. Based on the weapons level and the fact that around millas the mobs are in their 40's. What you dont know is how rare that weapon is. If its Ultra rare for some reason you can spend months there. I saw a tunarian tunic drop once in the 6 months i spent at the same camp. Im sure more could have dropped when I wasnt around because I wasnt there 24 hours a day but I think you get the point.

Yeah thats exactly what I was thinking. I was just hoping someone could confirm it for me. My warrior is lv30 and my friends bard is lv28. So we have some time to look for it before we are able to equip it. So I might be spending some time xping/farming at the bottom of the gnoll cave this weekend.

i looted multiple times off a blackpawed gnoll its the blackpaw next to the redpaw where the blue pawed thief and yuri the vicious spwan for the 35's its the first and only black paw u will see when down past the brick or dwarf part of the cave's hope this help's gl
