Exactly, if your in the right place at the right time why should you be punished because someone else wasnt. Tell them to get a grip, change their diaper and get back to playing.

From the sounds of it it was a short lived error.

no one will delete and they shouldnt have to. If they didnt require you to delete whole toons because of past glitches why should this be any different. They fixed it, some did benefit some didnt oh well whats done is done. Those that got the potions good for them those that didnt will just have to continue PL'ing their toons.

I can still get them on DH but they are threatening to take them forcibly from us. So basically we traded a cool xp pot for our 3rd anniversary gift, for a chitty goblin graphics reward. Thanks EQOA another anniversery that none of us will forget.

idk i was able to get boon perfectly without trading anything although guildiee said saw red message saying to destroy them i didnt see. I dont think we should loose anything for their mistake. Now i got them i my main and few alts. So many people will be pissed if they loose them. So they go thinking what better for bussiness? but then again it Sony so who knows

I really dont care if they take them away. I just hope they dont rollback the servers.

For the first time in probably 2 months, I was able to xp debt free, and get my much needed MCA form.

I for one don't care about the people that have used them already. What I have a problem with is the people useing them after the PINK TEXT came up asking to destroy them. I also feel that anyone caught still useing them should get the same treatment as a glitcher. I would hate to see a server roll back cause people can't control themselves........


Example..your walking to the bank when you see a bag full money you take it, You start spending it like mad when you see a news flash. Who ever has it to stop spending it and turn it in... If you refuse to turn in you should be held acountable for your actions from that point on.

Writing a letter everyday to complain about people who may or may have not got the buff is immature, and is whining in overdrive. If you want to complain complain about the ineptness of the devs to not see this problem and deal with it in a quick way. Complain about the devs not shutting down the servers til they had a soultion to the problem. Complain about the fact that while these pink letters warnings were going up you could still get the potion from one of the fp announcements. The warning in that case, just acted as a sign for those who didnt know it was goin on. However writing a letter to chit on people who used the pot, than deleted as was requested is stupid. Those people (including myself) did what was asked of me by the devs. I honestly thought it might of been a promo to get people back on the live servers for the 3rd anniverisery. As did ALOT of people, but your going after the wrong people yell at the devs who started this situation.

As far as building your toons fair and square, I ve been on this game since it started and thinking that one day of bonused xp somehow lessens a toons worth is stupid. What it did do was bring the Hagley population back to the live servers, those toons with 1200 cms that cms became to slow to grind suddenly had a reason to get a group and try to grind for 1205. Remember your posts about TS killing the live servers? Well if you happened to be on that day, you would've noticed that you didnt have to wait to get a group. You had wouldve noticed that things were better than they had been 6 months to a year before the TS even went up. Maybe, in your eyes it was a bad thing but for one night the game actually was fun, and grouping/grinding at any level was worth while.

Wow captain oblivious... you totally missed the point of that post. The roll back deletes all xp even xp gain legally without boon. People who had the boon still had to xp and they also lose all the xp that they grinded for. Ive made peace with the fact that they made the mistake, and i deleted mine as asked while many people continued to exploit it. Im not bitter about it,im not crying for a roll back. I pay my 13 bucks a month to have fun not be a dev snitch or a crybaby. If you still have an active account and were on that day you would ve noticed that there was excitement. People were grouping, live servers were alive, even if it was a mistake it wasnt that bad. Noone went from 1 to 60, most people just pulled out there retired toons and got cms. Even if they did gain an obscene amount levels what business is it of yours? Its not your business and screaming/spamming for a rollback just shows your inability to mind your own business.

As far people who Booned there way to high levels, who cares. Half the people on live servers ploob there toons anyway. Have you tried to get a group lately at low to mid level? Unless you have a pl lined up people dont want to know chit. Ive never recieved a pl on my mage ever, does that mean that my toon is better than the 1 ~45 ploob toons? No it doesnt, it just means that i took a harder, longer road and that i may have more experience on what i can do with with my toon. Imo idc how people get to the high levels, its not my business, im more interested that there are people to xp with. Which as you may have or have not noticed is on a steady decline.

This is the whining to which i am refering to, and you agreed with him. Its a done deal why cant he just let this go? I understand he dislikes Saph, doesnt agree with her thinking w/e, Its not my business. Dont drag people and there toons into your personal crusade to get her fired.

My point is if they roll back the servers they gonna do it for everyone. It is gonna hurt EVERYONE. SOE as cheap as it is isnt gonna waste time researching who did or didnt use it. It also means that if you leveled or cmed without it its gone. If the devs decided to do this than o well, but writing letters everyday to ***** people over shows some peoples inability to leave well enough alone. Take into consideration that if you xped at a camp with the boon, you still xped and if they rolled back youd still use lose any xp. Let me clarify this: say i camped at Kappas, while i got 4x the xp a shouldve got something for grouping (normal 1x). Now if they roll back the servers, id lose my normal xp, not just what boon granted me. That is what im complaining about. If they said we are rolling back servers, but they would give us credit for the normal xp that we recieved than i wouldnt care. But grinding for nothing only to have it roll backed will hurt the game. How many people do you think will come back to live servers to re xp what they lost?



Perhaps you should learn to read as well. I posted that i followed the instructions that were givin to us at the time to the letter. I didnt like it but im not trying to face the wrath of angry devs either. Perhaps what your missing is what exactly the dev message was was. They simply stated " That it wasnt fair that some people could recieve the potions while others couldn't and in the interest of fairness we should delete the potions." It wasnt until much later that they began the threatening to take away the pots, by this time my boon buff and pot was a distant memory. They never stated, "kill yourself to remove the boon". So if anything this is a dev oversight. I never complained after it was explained that it wasnt for the live servers. I complained when they said people couldnt get one, and were spam mailing about it. Only six hours later did they come up with the its not for our server line not the time of that posting. If you were on at the time you would have a clearer understanding of what really went down.

I'm going to loose like..a level is they do a roll back, which isn't a lot...but a freaking level? **** then I'd be one more level away from 60
